The vintage fabric I soak in salt water, then I braid it and let it rotate in the sun for about 3 months! Custom fit his wrists with vintage clasps I find in flea markets - all the little details are a vibe and make a difference and he loves it and so do I!

Ben Gallaher chose this awesome live shot for his cover, it’s so on brand with what we’ve built on over the past decade together for his authentic style as an artist. Custom wrist cuff and reworked vintage pendants by yours truly photo by Justin Redongo
I create these wrist cuffs using vintage leather pieces and vintage bandanas. I soak the bandana in ocean water for a few days tied with string, then let it dry in the sun for a few days, after unwrapping the fabric I tie again with scraps of old t shirts and throw them in the dryer, the lightening of the sun spots makes the fabric look nice and worn in, then I shred it into strips keeping in mind how wide I want it for his wrist. And then sew the edges smooth on my sewing machine. I measure his wrist and put on a snap or a hook and walla! Once he wears them to perform it kind of conforms to his wrist naturally and I will make adjustments to the closures. The pendants I will find all over in my travels, I will change the chain to leather or different links and then adjust the lengths. It’s a-lot of fun to collaborate on custom accessories that become one of a kind pieces and we love a good album credit 💜
