Hello, I'm Lilly. I'm an editor currently working on the Brazilian telenovela Hilda Furacão. I specifically edit the characters Hilda and Malthus because I love their storyline. My socials for watching my edits are @tylxlilly on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.But enough about me. Like a lot of Hilda Furacão fans, I HATE the side characters and side plots. How is a show named after a character (Hilda), yet her presence feels like a whisper beneath the noise of the side plots (quoted from the TikToker @modish_recos in the comment section of my Birds of a Feather).In my opinion—and many other fans agree—Hilda (played by Ana Paula Arósio) and her love interest/other main character Malthus (Rodrigo Santoro) deserve way more screen time together, so we see their relationship in fuller depth and learn more about their character development. And I know a lot of people would say “well the show isn't about them anyway, it's about Roberto Drummond’s life,” but the thing is the show doesn’t fully follow Roberto Drummond’s book anyway.Because of these long scenes of side plots and characters, I’ve had people in my comments saying they wish someone could edit the show so it’s only Hilda and Malthus’s scenes—not just in my comments, but throughout the community. Since there’s a demand and longing for edits featuring just them, I’ve decided to start editing the show so it's only Ana and Rodrigo’s scenes. I have completed episode 1 and am going on to the next episodes.However, I really need advice on where to post the episodes—as I have no clue how to make a website or set up platforms 😅 If anyone has advice or is even willing to help me post, that would be very much appreciated.Please bear in mind, when it comes to posting: I’m working with a slightly broken laptop that only has space for one episode at a time, and I may be having tutoring lessons since it’s summer break—and CapCut sometimes crashes. I’d also love if people could contact me through my socials with tips and advice on editing and posting.Also a quick disclaimer I want to say is that I'm gonna try the show as best as I can and I may need to show side characters scenes if it fits with CONTEXT.
