Having like. Every Cyrus headcannon of mine coming true immediately is crazy. It's definently not true but idc

I think that Saturn was graduating college soon (first semester of senior year i think) and Cyrus was in his last year of his masters program. He was looking for people to recruit and told Saturn as soon as he was out, if he needed a job for experience that working for his energy company would be a great idea, etc.

Saturn imo found him very interesting and downright eccentric at times, but ultimately respect turned into idolizing the guy during Galactic. They got together then very briefly and it wasn't a very good relationship due to the power dynamics at play and Cyrus' emotional unavailability.

After the distortion realm, and Cyrus makes it back out (in my mind there was a long period between Spear Pillar and him getting out), Saturn has him put in a hospital and visits a lot so they form an odd begrudging friendship. No-one else really talks to him to Saturn is his only lifeline for a while. Eventually when he's recentered and back in society, he and Saturn start to be more open and honest about things, and become intimate again and form a odd platonic-esque relationship. Cyrus is still a criminal, so while he wants to help Saturn run the "new" Team Galactic, he can't involve himself directly, and ultimately wants to disband it (like in the manga).
