Gunil seems like the type of guy to always put on a show, but in a romantic way. If you get in a fight, Gunil always ends up at your door moments later with flowers and an apology. If he's picking you up from a long day of traveling, he's holding a sign with your name on it in the airport. If you need a ride home, he's coming to get you with your favorite drink in his cup holder. After a hard day, he greets you in the kitchen, singing and dancing to your favorite song. If you make an accomplishment, he's cheering loudly from his seat, not caring if he's being too loud. His admiration for you is always shown in some sort of production, and you're the star of his show.

Something about Jungsu has always captivated you. His soft demeanor, his silly laugh- it all had a way of drawing you in. So when you found yourself sitting knee-to-knee with him in a game of spin the bottle, all you could do was hope the bottle never landed on you.
“Jiseoook!” Seungmin cried, his words slurring as they slipped past his lips. “Just spin the bottle already!”
Jiseok lurched forward from his spot in the circle, grabbing the bottle and trying to steady himself. “Shut up,” he hiccuped. Clearly, the bottle before him had just been emptied. One of the few bottles split between the group that evening, but the first to run dry. Gunil laughed as he suggested the game a few minutes ago, and maybe you made it up, but you could’ve sworn you saw Jungu’s cheeks flush at the suggestion.
“Spin it!” Seungmin shouted drunkenly.
“Fine!” Joseok yelled back. Another hiccup accentuated the flick of his wrist as he spun the bottle. Gunil cheered from his spot on the floor, sprawled out flat on his back. As the green glass slowed to a stop, Jooyeon lit up.
“(Y/N)!” He cheered. “Oh my god, oh my god!” The group “ooo’d” and “ahh’d” as you and Jiseok stared at each other. As one of the only sober people in the room, you couldn’t help but hesitate.
“Do you want to do this?” Jiseok asked, trying to sound as level-headed as possible.
You held your hands up in defense. “Jiseok, I love you, but I think you’re a little too out of it,” you explained. “I’m sorry, but I’ll have to pass.”
Jiseok nodded in understanding, but not before Gunil chimed in.
“I volunteer!” He laughed before sitting upright and planting a classic brrr kiss on Jiseok’s cheek. Jiseok laughed as you saw Jooyeon lean in, his drunken state insisting he join in on the fun. All you could do was laugh as the scene unfolded.
“Good call backing out,” Jungsu commented, leaning into your side. “I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Gunil this drunk.”
You chuckle and turn to him, trying to ignore your close proximity. “At least we’re hearing from him… is Hyeongjun okay?” You both turn and look at him, noticing the redness of his eyes.
“Yeah, he’s okay,” Jungsu smiles. “He’s probably just in his own world.”
You nod, giving Hyeongjun a soft smile, which he returned with a silent nod of his head.
“You two!” Jooyeon shouted, pointing his finger into your face. “Stop schmoozing and spin!”
“Schmoozing?” Jungsu scoffs.
“Spin!!”
You shake your head, smiling at Jooyeon’s antics as you take your turn spinning the bottle. As the bottle spins, you notice how Jiseok’s head follows it as it spins round and round.
Then, as the spinning slows, both time and the bottle seem to stop all at once. The open neck lands on Jungsu, and you both turn to face each other again.
The others light up, hooting and hollering as the bottle’s choice becomes clear in their drunken minds. Even Hyeongjun seems to perk up a bit.
“Oh my gooooddd!” Gunil squeals.
Jungsu rolls his eyes. “What are you?” He asks, stifling a laugh. “High schoolers?” With a roll of his eyes, Jungsu turns back to you. “If you don’t want to kiss me, I understand. It’s totally your call.”
Your cheeks flare up as he waits for your okay, and suddenly you feel embarrassed. All eyes are on you, and you realize you need to make a confession.
“I…” You pause suddenly, feeling silly for being embarrassed. “I’ve never kissed anybody,” you admit. Out of the corner of your eye, you see Gunil and Jiseok grasp onto each other, similar to the way young girls fangirl at a concert.
“Really?” Jungsu asks quietly, blinking at you a few times. You nod, trying to ignore the way your heart pounds in your chest. “Why not?”
You shrug, “Just been waiting for the right person, I guess.”
Jungsu smiles softly, suddenly feeling a bit of courage- no liquid assistance required. “So… Can I be your first?”
His voice was soft, a tone you swear only you have ever heard. Your feelings for Jungsu have been difficult over the years. As he’s stepped further into his fame, you’ve pushed your feelings further away. Why plead for something you know you could never have? But now, as his question hung in the air and his bandmates waited with bated breath, you felt those feelings come flooding back to you.
“Yeah,” you nod, trying to bite back a smile. “You can be.”
Jungsu’s smile grows as he leans in, placing a quick, soft kiss on your lips. As he pulls away, you find yourself slightly chasing after him. Stopping yourself, you give him a shy smile.
“Was that okay?” He whispered.
“Yeah,” you whisper back. “It was.”
“OHH MY GOD!” Jiseok cheers. “You guys are- like- SO in love!” He hiccups again, this time so loudly that he scares himself.
Jungsu rolls his eyes, giving him a knowing look. “Shut up and go drink some water.”

Lacing up your skates, you couldn’t ignore how the cold of the ice rink bit at your cheeks.
“Minnie,” you spoke, looking at him as he tied his skates, “I’ve never been ice skating before.”
Seungmin pulled his laces tight and stood up, wobbling a bit as he rose. “That’s okay,” he smiled down at you. “”I’ll be right by your side.”
Nodding, you stand up after him, clutching onto his shoulders to keep you upright. You both share a laugh before Seungmin offers you his hand. “Come on. We can start slow so you don’t fall.”
Seungmin slowly leads you onto the ice, avoiding any other skaters whose skills are far better than yours. As you take your first few steps on the ice, you hold tightly onto Seungmin, trying your hardest not to fall.
“See?” He smiled at you, “You’ve got it.”
Right as the words leave his mouth, you lose your footing, grabbing onto him.
“Min!” You shout as you fumble on the ice. Laughing, he grabs onto your waist, holding you up.
“Okay,” he chuckles. “Maybe you still need some practice.” As he steadies you, he grabs ahold of your hand again. “Just, make sure to hold on to me, okay? Then if you fall, at least I’ll fall with you.”
You laugh now, taking a few more steps further into the rink. “Wow, how kind,” you muse sarcastically.
“Anything for you,” he smiles back.

I’ve tried to write this post twice now? It’s gonna be long, but here’s an important update.

So obviously I haven’t posted in like, almost two months. To keep it short and sweet, here are the reasons why:
I’m forgetful as all hell, I cannot lie 💀
I’m a third-year college student
I took a class last semester that required us to use Tumblr for the course (I wish I was kidding) and it ultimately took the fun out of what was originally my safe space away from school sanctioned writing
I love this account with my whole heart— I built something I’m proud of and gathered a small part of a niche community that I love (shout out Xdinary) while doing something I love (writing).
I don’t want to say goodbye to this account; it’s a passion project that I grew to love. However, as much as I would love to tell you my intentions for this account, I’m not entirely sure what they are. Will I keep writing? Will I just convert this account into a fan account for xh? Will I ever really comeback? I 100% honestly do not know.
To the one person out there asking, “What about Night of Fireworks?!” …your guess is as good a mine dawg 💀 The idea for that series was never fully flushed out- I just kinda had the vague idea and then put the pen to paper. To the three people who liked the idea of that series- I hate to break it to you, but it might never leave the idea stage.
I don’t really know what the future holds for this account, but to the new people, hello! And to the old people, thank you for sticking around. Shoutout to the friends I’ve met through this account, and double shoutout to my irls who didn’t find the fact that I write self-insert fanfiction cringey. I might see you all later, and I also might not. Who really knows?
