im back !
i took a very long break from the Frankenweenie community but, I have decided to come back! If anybody would like to chat & what not, feel free to pass me a message! Though, this account is still under construction.
HIATUS !!
So, I have lost a bit of muse for my character, so I will be taking a hiatus. I don't know how long it'll last, but if anybody would like to get in contact with me, I will be on my newest blog. @flavorfulsweetness
(( I want so badly for the Frankenweenie fandom to come back and for RP blogs to resurface, I’ve missed this so much. I left so suddenly that I never was able to come back when it was still thriving. If anyone who used to be in the Frankenweenie fandom -or even people who would be new to it- were to come back it’d be amazing… ))

Beverly’s head tilted sideways, her big eyes watching him closely, studying his thin frame. With a slow but confident nod of her head, she stepped slightly backward, gripping the handle of the wooden bat, anxious. She didn’t want to mess anything up.
“Uhm, where should we start?” She questioned. She hadn’t know really much of anything when it came to batting, since she had been so used to pitching. Beverly would admit that she had felt stupid, Nassor had seemed quite intelligent already & she just only just met him.
“First your stance.” He slowly moved towards the place. Once in front of it he pointed his bat over to the plate, motioning her to stand there. “If you do not have a good stance then your balance shall be off. With your body off balance, then your swing shall be lacking.”Â
As told, the ravenette moved over to the plate, looking back over at him with a confirming nod. During her first swing, she hadn’t really thought about stance, she had been far too excited to think. She slightly turned her body to the right, wrapping her fingers firmly around the bats handle, with both hands this time. “Like this?” She asked him, only slightly bending her knees.
Nassor took his back and lightly tapped on one of her ankles. “Slightly move your legs further apart and bend your knees more. You must be ready to sprint at first base once you hit the ball into the air.” He walked around Beverly, coming up behind her and moving her elbow up with his hand before stepping back, nodding to himself in approval. “Remember this stance. This is how you should be standing when you approach the plate to bat.”
Beverly did as she was told with a slow nod, spreading her legs slightly, watching her feet as she did so. Then, she bent her knees, just as Nassor told her. Her big round eyes watched him as he walked around her, causing her to raise an eyebrow. The female waited for a few seconds before nearly jumping backward as his touch was sudden to her, seeing she wasn’t completely paying attention to him as she should have been. She cleared her throat before nodding, “Right, got it. Thank you.” She murmured quickly. Now, to test it. She slightly squinted her eyes & grabbed the ball that sat at her feet. Beverly made sure her stance was correct & tossed the ball up, before she knew it, the small object was flying across the field. “Woah! Did you see that?!” She beamed, looking over at him with wide & excited eyes.
The boy watched her hit the ball with grace and ease. Watching the ball fly into the outfield he began to clap. A brow raised. “Impressive. Your stance makes a difference. It is all about balance.” He tapped the plate. “Batter up, Beverly. Do you think you shall be able to hit a ball that is thrown at you?”
The sound of him clapping rang in her ears, she was proud of herself to a small extent before the clapping, now she was actually quite proud. She had seen Nassor around but never spoke to him, until now. He always seemed so blunt & slightly dull, which wasnt an odd thing to her & it certainly wasn't a bad thing either. She was quiet when she first got here. Beverly's train of thought had crashed once he spoke to her again, some thought was put into her answer. Could she? After a few long seconds, she let a "I can try." pass as good enough. "I mean -- I think so."

Nadiya tilted her head, watching him closely, studying his figure. He was tall, much taller than her. She put her bat down, furrowing an eyes. “Oh- I used to play back in France, I was a pitcher unfortunately but, I know my way around a bat.” She said, still watching him. She walking over to fence, “I’m assuming you are a part of the team here, yes?” Her voice was a bit blunt now, her accent thick like honey.
He nodded his head. “I am the catcher on the team.” Nassor rested the bat on his shoulder, slowly moving towards her. “Any ball that is thrown at me I am able to catch. Though that doesnt mean I am perfect at the other elements of the game.” He looked her over quickly. Though she wore a turtleneck he could tell she had some muscle to her based on how hard she had swung her bat. “Do you know how to play other positions?”
Nadiya watched him come closer, feeling a little nervous for some reason “I wish I had reflexes like that.” She said to him, “I’m only experienced with pitching, unfortunately. I mean, as you can see. That ball went no where.” She laughed a bit, tugging at the collar of her sweater a little bit. She picked the ball up, staring at it with a small sigh. “I don’t even know why I’m trying this.”
“You could give up,” Nassor bluntly stated. He shrugged a little, looking to the side. “But that shall get you nowhere.” He walked over to the fence gate, opening it and finally stepping inside the diamond. He walked over to where she stood, looming over her without meaning to. He bent down to pick up the ball that lay by her feet. “These things take practice.” The boy stepped back a little, throwing the ball into the air. Swiftly swinging the bat from his shoulder, the bat collided with the ball. A near miss, but it managed to fly several feet. He frowned. He knew he could have done a little better. He turned back to her. “If you would like I can help you practice.”
|| excuse the sudden name change!! ||
Beverly watched the boy approach her, studying him closely “ You’re right.” She nodded, “Im not necessarily the giving up type.” She told him, looking up at him. The boy had intimidated her greatly, not just because of his height, but the way he acted in general. Beverly slightly stepped back as he swung the bat, watching the ball. She crossed her arms & raised a brow, feeling a little embarrassed over the fact that he had hit it, even though it was a near miss, and she had hit it, but it went nowhere. She shook her head slightly, brushing the thoughts away as he spoke to her “Oh, that would be very kind of you.” She told him, “I would like that.”
Nassor nodded. “Very well then.” He looked her over, twisiting his mouth slightly. There were several positions to practice. Any place would be a good place to start, but then he thought back to her batting performance. It was quite lacking. “Perhaps we should work on your batting first. You did say you were a pitcher, yes?”Â

Frankenweenie Aesthetics/Moodboards - Toshiaki Gojira and Nassor Karloff
|| Would anybody like to role-play?
Ow my childhood..
So apparently Toshiaki/Nassor is a ship?.. uh..
Can we NOT sexualize a Burton animated film please?
Just the animated ones specifically..
I don’t have a SUPER big problem with it, I mean you can ship whatever you want.. Can you at least tag it differently? like can we just have a separate tag for those ships? Or not really the ship but the art?
I just think it’s weird how, for every Burton movie so far, he’s made a cannon ship for us, and we ship it.. but right when he makes a movie with no solid ship, it’s free game? I mean I know “Nothing can save you from shipping” but we’ve just been so good at following the “rule” and then that..
I am by NO means a homophobe, absolutely not. I just want the fanart to be sorted please. Like I said, you can ship whatever is aesthetically pleasing to you. I’m sure some of you will agree, it’s just odd seeing a ship like this since we usually see Burton’s animated films as something more innocent..
I’m seriously cool with your choice of ship, but alter the tag a bit..
Thank you. I’m so sorry, if you get angry with me, I promise I mean well. I’ll huddle back in my corner now..
