AU when Saitama somehow figured out what to teach Genos,
and Genos, for some reasons,
finally found the mentor he needed after hundreds of years
Part 1 is here
Part 2 is here
When I was young, I used to admire intelligent people; as I grow older, I admire kind people.

Another Kitsune!Genos ✍️
Saitama: I heard that Kitsune can predict the future?
Genos: Yes, sensei. Some powerful Kitsune can even travel space and time and influence humans' destinies. But I'm too young and inexperienced for that.
Sensei, do you want to see some fortune telling?
Saitama: Hm.. I don't know. Maybe I -
Genos: HYA!!!
Genos:
Genos: Don't worry sensei! I will still follow you!
But I chose this human shape of your age
so that I can befriend you, sensei.

After hearing the doorbell ringing several times, Saitama finally got out of bed, lazily went to the door to see who had disrupted him from sleeping in on this precious Sunday, only to see this ancient-looking boy, about his age, standing in front of him.
“Saitama... sensei!” - he said. His voice were a bit shaky, but his eyes were full of determination and seriousness. Those eyes were certainly not human's, but the emotions and sincerity shown there were so real and human when contrasting them with Saitama's dead eyes. The boy looked at Saitama, he clenched his fists and continued after a small inhalation -
“My name is Genos. I am a kitsune. I have admired your power for a very long time.. Please take me as your disciple!” - the boy said as if he almost screamed, as if those where the lines he had practiced a hundred times before an interview. Still, he forgot to mention how he knew about Saitama or how he knew where Saitama was living but whatever.
“Okay...” - Saitama said it without thinking clearly, because he was still half-asleep, being bombarded by wordy noise, and trying to process what had just happened.
“Wait what..?”
Soon after did he realized he had made a mistake.
