The aesthetic of the visual design will involve geometric shapes. They will be sharp and pointy to symbolise not only how Avicii wanted peace but how we can remind ourselves that life is priceless. Right-Angled triangles and squares also came from the inspiration from Avicii’s watermark. View the second image to see how the watermark was carefully thought of by J.Design.
Choosing the base colour was straight forward, I instantly felt I had a good grip on the colour swatch from the get-go. Adobe Color CC has this page where you can extract colours from any given image that is stored on your computer.
Machine-learning picked up bright colours from my rough mood board that I put together. I’ll post more on this in the next post.
Based on research that I came across on Google Chrome. Avicii committed suicide by slashing himself with a shard of glass. This devasting news added a new dimension to the component. Flipping the pages in my sketchbook to the earlier conceptual stage, was this one concept that I made which shocked me up to this point. It was -“broken glass” - though I wasn’t too much aware of how his death. The connection between the concept and reality creates a whole new experience. Therefore, the concert’s purpose is to boldly lead mental illness to the front of the line.
Now it’s time to head on over to Sketchup to test with daylight and darkness.
It was a technique that I left out to learn, so I’m thinking of going back a step to be able to appreciate lighting conditions. Then after trying that out, I’ll finally get onto rendering with another software called “Indigo”.
