          i’m   posting   this   for   my   own   piece   of   mind   and   not   bc   anyone   warranted   me   to   do   so .          i   don’t   want   anyone   thinking   that   i   created   skye’s   blog   for   shipping   purposes   (   specifically ,          to   ship   with   any   clay   jensen   writers   )   because   that   isn’t   the   case .          in   the   first   season ,          i   didn’t   quite   understand   skye’s   character   nor   was   i   overly   fond   of   her .          she   seemed   like   a   filler   character   imo .          so   at   the   end   of   that   season ,          when   it   was   hinted   that   clay   and   skye   were   together   /   going   to   be ,          i   thought   it   was   hella   wack   bc   hannah   and   skye   have   gone   through   semi-similar   situations   and   uh ?          idk ,          it   seemed   kinda   thoughtless   to   have   clay’s   next   potential   love   interest   be   similar   to   hannah .          not !          to !          mention !          their   relationship   felt   hella   forced   from   the   get-go .          when   i   started   the   second   season ,          man   was   i   disappointed   with   the   decision   to   have   clay   and   skye   dating !          everything   relationship-wise   with   them   seemed ,          again ,          forced   and   fast-paced   and   i   hated   every   minute .          it   wasn’t   until   skye   was   hospitalized   that   i   took   an   interest   in   her .          i   have   a   few   things   in   common   with   skye ,          so   i   started   to   develop   an   understanding   of   her   by   the   end   of   the   season .          by   the   end   of   the   second   season ,          she   obviously   chose   her   mental   health   over   a   potential   relationship   w   clay ,          which   is   blessed   tho   bc   she   knows   her   worth   and   wow ?          BEAUTIFUL .          anyway ,          it   was   sweet   that   clay   found   solace   in   sending   skye   voicemails .          there   were   little   things   like   that   that   made   me   acquire   a   liking   for   potentially   shipping   them .          i   will   admit   that   in   the   series ,          clay   and   skye   weren’t   shippable ,          like ,          at   all ,          and   if   i   were   to   write   a   shippy   thread   of   any   kind   between   clay   and   skye ,          i’d   go   about   it   differently ,          and   i   would   prefer   for   it   to   be   thoroughly   plotted .          in   my   main   verse   and   as   far   as   canon   goes ,          i   am   writing   skye   in   the   sense   that   she   had   a   relationship   with   jensen ,          but   she   is   no   longer   with   him   and   is   focusing   on   her   personal   growth   rather   than   relationships   with   anyone .          they   still   are   friends   tho   so   uh !

*OUT   OF   CHARACTER .          listen ,          sosie   bacon   is   obviously   perfect   for   the   role   of   skye   and   i   want   to   keep   skye   as   close   to   canon   as   possible   ;          in   an   ideal   world ,          i   wouldn’t   contemplate   changing   skye’s   fc .         so   even   tho   the   quality   of   the   caps   i’ve   been   using   for   skye   is   lovely   (   shoutout   to   @tapegrief ,          what   an   angel !   ) ,          it’s   a   difficult   feat   to   make   bearably   decent   icons   using   sosie   because   the   coloring   in   a   majority   of   her   scenes   doesn’t   always   work   w   my   psd ,          plus   a   few   other   factors ,          and   tbh   it’s   become   a   nuisance   to   make   icons ??          anyway ,          i’d   like   to   know   if   it’d   bother   anyone   in   the   13rw   community   if   i   changed   skye’s   fc ?
