When nobody wakes you up in the morning, when nobody waits for you at night, and when you can do whatever you want, what do you call it, Freedom or Loneliness?
Charles Bukowski
When the clock strikes ten more and more people gather here: sitting round the fountain, glancing at people you seem to notice more, enjoying the day. It never seems to be a quiet place. Then I came here around nine o'clock, I only saw a few runners. The sun only just came up, the grass was still a bit damp. I have always loved this place, but that morning it looked even more beautiful. Jardin des Tuileries, Paris
{Words by Charles Bukowski/ Mary Oliver from invitation}
