Ok, and let's say, that KCs did exactly what TO cast and crew want. Say we were to leave them alone, stop tweeting them and asking for Klaroline, never mention it again. What do they think would happen then? Would the ratings magically rise, would TO become a better show, would the media start praising it to high heaven? WHAT?? How can DG and the stans who take their cues from him not see the fault in their logic there?

If the KCers were to leave them completely alone they would go more bonkers sweetheart.

At this point the only media attention TO gets is from the ship that does not exist in their show in any form or aspect. And they are so salty about it. Because everything else that belong to their show has failed horribly and they know it. It is not a coincidence that every time they want to get some media attention they either bait the KC fandom with false promises or they are frustrated as hell and they either go for the pity party or attack. It is the only way they can go around and have people acknowledge that they actually exist at this point. You think that they actually want the KC fandom to leave them alone? No sweetheart they do not and this is why I keep on insisting for us to give them nothing but radio silence. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THEM guys. Just don’t. It is what they actually want.

Klamille goes full force and flops royally and suddenly LP goes to twitter and cries wolf (and I say this because fighting against bullying is noble for as long as you acknowledge all events for all sides and cases and not start bullying others yourself or enable a situation that provokes such reactions. And how much more when you start naming bullying -aside the real hate- things that are not). DG wants attention and has a Q&A and suddenly he, a 40 year old man, starts fighting with teens in twitter. The Friday slot comes and hello Klaroline phonecall. More Klaroline fans talk about Klamille and Klayley than Klamille and Klayley shippers do at this point. Because the TO fandom has shrunk to the point of desolation. TO comes with new characters and plots and the 90% of all the questions that flood their accounts is about Klaroline. The writers are writing for an average of 900.000 people right now. That is it. And the number keeps shrinking. This is the actual impact TO has made and the writers and cast of that show know this all too well. They do not care about being jerks because they know that once the show ends no one will remember them afterwards. Add to that how they showed their ass hard when the show had begun and how frustrated they got with everything that happened afterwards and you get this result and a fuckery they practically initiated.

There is not ONE thing left in that show that can generate any interest. NONE. Every one of their ships at this point has to engage into a confrontation with the KC fandom in order to even be minimally heard. No one cares about any characters or plots or anything this show deals with. Even the smallest ship inside the declining TVD is a monster ship compared with the whole TO fandom but only the KC fandom still gives them any plausible attention (and they are at a point where for them negative attention is good attention because it better than no attention) and all that because the ties Klaus had once upon a time with Klaroline. And I say once upon a time because TO Klaus has nothing to do in reality with Klaroline but the fans still hold on to the ship anyway. And this happens when something has such a massive impact. People hold on to it to the very end and even beyond that. I would not expect from anyone related with TO to understand that feeling for the simple reason that TO never created such a feelings with its audience. It would require from TO to be a success for that to actually happen and it never was.

The stans also feel entitled to participate to this fuckery because the writers and the cast are the ones that have no chill and the stans follow their example. TO embraced these kind of fans and exiled all others and now they are left only with these kind of stans. You can see the stans being the most hateful trolls and haters and yet they believe that their actions are justified and expect from the KC fans to simply take all the abuse in without any reaction because the TO crew has initiated this unhealthy and insane behavior that has nothing to do with the bad apples of the KC fandom (as those of course exist in KC as they do in every fandom) but with their need to cover their tracks and find an outlet for their anger over their failure. And they do it because they feel cornered and they are poor losers. It is a matter of character. Either you have class or not. In this case they are in need of scapegoats and once you deal unprofessionally like this and target real people and teens especially then you create a toxic situation with no end. Every action brings reaction from all sides involved. And this is why the TVD fandom as a whole has such a bad reputation. Because this is what JP invited in and this is what she got. And TO’s fandom was created by the depths of an already aggressive toxic TVD fandom from the declining era of TVD that has people already being ready to devour each other. As far as stans go TO is the worst thing TVD has ever produced with JP’s blessings and prompting.

If the KCers were to completely leave them to their own mess and would stop engaging with them they would sink faster. The apathy would be so great and it would be radio silence all around.

The shows are dead guys. Let them be. Put them to rest and stop giving them the attention they actually want. They do not deserve it.

Hello Klaroline Family!

We’ve been working on planning the next charity drive for Klaroline Gives Back, which will tentatively take place in late January/early February, and we’ll be bringing you more information on that soon.

In the meantime, we were hoping to do a smaller event during the holiday season. Show the world your Coven pride by donating a toy to any charity in your area for a child in need, take a picture of the toy (or you holding the toy), and post it on tumblr or twitter using #KlarolineGivesBack.

The point of this event isn’t to trend, but instead to keep the holiday spirit going as we organize the next charity event.

Do you think Klaus loves Caroline?

No. Even though I do not perceive love to be as something positive because love can also be dark, and has nothing to do with redemption and can actually lead to obsession. in this case this was not the case. I think Klaus was falling in love with Caroline and was deep down already in love with her. But falling in love with someone and even being in love with someone is not the same as loving someone. Love takes time, takes effort, requires a relationship and development and progress and that was denied to the Klaroline story and this is why many fans are left with the sense of something being left incomplete. Either that something would lead to love or not is of no importance. Technically you have the endgame right there (…however long it takes…last love…) no matter what happens to the shows as we talk about immortals. But the journey was cut in half (the “closure” in 5x11 doesn’t even matter because of the level of OOC compared to how the Klaroline story was build for the two years of its existence) and for a story the last page is not what matters. The whole book is what matters. And in this story the love part was not here yet so we are left with the enigma of a complicated emotional turmoil that has extreme interest when it comes to words as “love”.

Klaus was infatuated with Caroline. He was enamored with her, intrigued by her. It started as a fluke but turned into something deeper. Caroline challenged him. Emotionally and mentally and for a man that considers himself the most powerful being on the planet and is set in his ways and psychosis for a thousand years this means something. After all the boredom and all the darkness and twisted mania here comes a 18 year old baby vampire that knows nothing about life and about being a vampire and is not only the same as him but also his polar opposite. It is a conundrum and an enigma. You see Caroline has immense potential in Klaus’ mind and reminds him of himself and even Rebekah at times but at the same time she is balanced and able to understand human emotions. Where Klaus perceives humanity and love as weakness Caroline considers them to be strength and is able to pass that belief to those that surround her. Even him and make him doubt his own perception momentarily…enough for Caroline to sway him to her side and have her way which is surprising Klaus at every turn. Whatever Klaus was unable to do with his parents, love interests and siblings Caroline has managed to do just in her beginning and with minimum effort. Klaus can use the “love” he finds in others as a lever of deadly manipulation but Caroline can manipulate it in positive ways that inspire people. Klaus could only dream of such thing and yet Caroline has it already down. Caroline is also likable while deadly. Klaus wants to be likable by others but cannot comprehend the way to do it. This is an extreme fascination for Klaus because Caroline is also -obviously- a major manipulator and a person that relishes in being a vampire. Klaus has a Machiavellian nature but Caroline can achieve the things Klaus strives for without needing to put all the effort Klaus puts. It is natural for her. Klaus admires Caroline’s light but what he admires more is that this light is not one of purity. Is one that can highlight the darkness and shine also bright. Caroline is a person that can pull and push and challenge Klaus and understands the flickers of humanity that exist in him but never buys to his crap and mind games because she is like… “dude you have 1% of tainted humanity but what makes you think that I am here to avert my eyes to the rest 99% of you because of that 1%?”. Caroline will never give him a free pass because he simply did something “good” because she understands the dark side, she understands the amoral ways and the skewed morality, she understands vampirism but most of all understands his facade. Caroline doesn’t mind the murder and the darkness. She minds the hypocrisy and the fuckery. Those are two different things completely. Klaus doesn’t need to change in order to stand next to Caroline and Caroline won’t get enamored by his bullshit and his charming wooing. Klaus might need to change some of his ways to accommodate Caroline’s needs but he will never need to change his core. And the same thing counts for Caroline while every other person in her life tries to mold her into something different and less irritating for their perspective of morality and life. This is why Klaus and Caroline click so good together. Their struggle is a personal one that doesn’t surrender to human laws and morals and ideals of redemption. They make their own rules. They are vampires. They are sharp and deadly and their combination brings peace to them and not to the world around them. This is not about the greater good or about them being perfect. This is about them being perfect for each other without needing to change or break down to pieces for another person to stitch back together.

This is extremely seductive for a woman like Caroline that was always the second choice and even ashamed for who she is and for a man like Klaus that was hunted for his nature and that is used to get others to empathize with him one way or another when it is obviously not deserved or simply something real (while he knows it is not real). Trying to mirror yourself to what others think is the best version of you when you are obviously made of another material is something that can drive you insane, miserable and in the end lonely. And being lonely is something that both Klaus and Caroline have lived and fear.

Caroline means in Klaus’ mind honesty. Brutal and unwavering. She is not meant to coddle him. She is not meant to fight him for the sake of it or fight for his damned soul. She is not there to be the beacon of light and to be the sweet loving caring angel. Caroline is a vampire and is the other side of his coin. Klaus would never be able to feel complete with someone weaker than him, or someone that is an asshole like him, or someone that is ready to be manipulated by him or someone that sees only the good and constantly believes in him even when what he needs is someone to break him down from his delusions. Klaus is a multi dimensional character that needs to have a certain kind of chemistry in his sexual and emotional relationships. Such a misogynistic sexist piece of shit like him doesn’t need people believing that he is a misunderstood puppy or people demeaning him all the time based on their moral code. He needs the right kind of balance with a person that stands up to him while standing by him by recognizing and embracing all sides of him (the best and the worst the light and the dark).

Klaus can recognize love but cannot empathize or understand it. Caroline on the other hand can do both. That can make her extremely dangerous and that kind of pull in their in between relationship is a never ending interesting game for Klaus.

Klaus wants Caroline’s respect because he understands that he doesn’t need to pretend with her or change into a redeemed version in order to stand by her side. Klaus desires loyalty and respect and honesty. Caroline has been blunt in those ways in her interactions with him. This is why Klaus slowly started falling for her. The roots are there but have not blossomed yet. He understands that he feels something deep for her (that for now has no name) and this is why he promised to be her last “love”. Caroline Forbes in his mind is his destiny. When he dreams of what he wants from his life and how his life will be fulfilled then this will be it. However long it takes.

It was an interesting choice of words really. Because it was set in the future and spoke of love. That is not something that was spoken without any thought behind it especially by a being that has been around for centuries and knows what time actually means. Because Klaus doesn’t love her now but he can grow to love her in the future and the same counts for Caroline. They both need time. Experiences. Klaus needs more human experiences and years of mindless savagery and Caroline more vampire ones while also leaving her human dreams before leaving them behind her. Their ways will meet again. Klaus craves for Caroline to love him and not just fall for him. It is a desperate need he has. And one day he will gain it. It is more like the promise land in his head.

And for a man that spent the last 1000 years trying to break his curse waiting when it comes to what he craves the most is literally nothing. Time does not matter for vampires after all.
