Sometimes I think that I’ve gotten so fluent in English since I had to learn it in preschool over a decade ago but then the bilingual “randomly forget a word” experience hits me like a truck

Had an idea for a cookie run hunger games AU but SOMEEEE fans of these characters left a bad taste in my mouth so the most I can muster is a bullet list about them:

Black Sapphire and Candy Apple are (adopted) siblings, with Bsapph being 18 and Capple being 12. They live with Shadow Milk in District 8, with Shamilk and Bsapph working as tailors in the Capitol factories during the day and then running an underground contraband toy business during the night.

Since I needed more characters, I made the executive decision to count Truthless Recluse, Sage of Truth, and Lady Azure as separate characters, with Ad-Lib being a sort of 'alter ego' Shadow Milk uses to evade the Capitol whenever they crack down on fabric theft. Sage and Azure are District 8 mentors, while Recluse, who was the most recent mentor to win a game, was chosen to mentor District 12. Azure and Shamilk are direct siblings, while Sage and Recluse are their half siblings.

With the President being Dark Enchantress, the escorts for each district are her minions in the cr canon. For District 8, it's most likely Affogato due to his conniving nature.

Despite only having her name in the reaping bowl once, Candy Apple was chosen to be the female tribute for the year's games. Black Sapphire tried to intervene, but got looped into 'volunteering' to be the male tribute.

During the tribute interviews, Candy Apple became known as 'Panem's Little Sister,' while Black Sapphire became known as a witty, charming young man.

I haven't figured out who exactly the victor of this game would be, but if both Capple and Bsapph died, the capitol would make sure Shamilk stayed alive until after the Victory Tour so that way what the games did to the families of tributes wasn't broadcasted to the nation.

Hunger Games pilled so here's an idea for an original fic I have brewing:

Theme of the year's games is "distrust thy neighbor," which is a spin on the Christian saying, "love thy neighbor," to dissuade district camaraderie after a period of unrest.

Gamemaker for that year was looking through ancient history books and stumbled upon stories detailing Joseon (an era of Korea) and myths related to that. Proceeds to take those myths and histories and claim it as their own.

Arena is set in an area with a small, empty hanok town in one section, an open field in another section, and a dense forest with a river in the last.

Tiger mutts are modified with the ability to mimic tributes' voices (see: Chaangwi).

Winner is someone outside of the Career districts due to the nature of the games.

Dare I throw in a small Covey child named Lully Emerald into the arena- *gets shot*

Went ahead and made a picrew brainstorm (using this one here) of Lully Emerald

Some general facts:

Around 12 years old, was born around the same time Lucy Gray won the 10th game

Not Covey by blood, but was taken in by them after being abandoned as a baby; was given the last name 'Baird' when registering her with the Capitol Census Bureau (or whatever's the equivalent)

'Lully' comes from the hymn 'Lully, Lulla, Lullay,' which is sung in honor of the children slain by King Herold, who, in the Christian myth, was seeking to kill baby Jesus so that there could be no 'king of kings' to dethrone him

Was most likely reaped to cull the Covey population and discourage the group from adopting children in order to stamp out their culture

Gains an ally or two before and during the games, but dies to a tiger mutt after losing them

Because the broadcast system was still being improved on + the Capitol's increased oppression, her death didn't spark the same level of outrage that Rue's did
