I could invite her over but it might stress him out too, originally my plan was to spend a week inside with my cat to make sure he’s fine and adapting to the change but also I’m scared that if I do that, the day I’ll leave will make him panic even more but like,, I just don’t want to leave him alone

It really annoys me when ppl talk of stripping like it’s a temporary “to make ends meet” job only. I know for a lot of strippers that’s exactly what it is and I respect them and wish them the best (love y’all), I just hate when ppl assume that’s why I do it. I’m lucky and privileged enough to do it because I love it and enjoy it, I go when I want and I don’t get into financial trouble if I don’t go for a while, I’ve been wanting to do this job for YEARS and finally got the courage to actually get into it this winter. So when ppl act like the day I’ll find another job I’ll stop stripping it just feels like it erases all the work I’ve done on myself to be able to get and enjoy that job. I love stripping, I love the bikinis and the shoes and the talking and the dancing and the being surrounded by other women, I do not want to stop, I do not look forward to stopping. I love sex work, I wanna do more, it is not a last resort for me it’s actually the job I’ve been working to get for years. I’d just appreciate it if ppl understood that about me
