The weirdest thing about this fandom is people will have Haru hate Akechi more and make her more violent towards him in fanon to "fix" the game, but no one wants to make her hate her father. You got no powers AU where her father is literally written like a good guy when he's still a rich capitalist, and Akechi is dragged more than him. People will have her hate Akechi more than her fiance or her father who's literally the reason the fiance was a problem in the first place.

It just goes to show who actually paid attention to the game and who didn’t.

Not that Haru’s character makes much sense in the first place to anyone but Goro haters. 

Did you notice how they rarely write Futaba that way? It’s become Haru’s entire personality, sadly.

Quick question, I wanna share this p5 fic I've been working on, but I'm nervous both in general due to lack to confidence and of encountering the toxic fans; do ya have any advice?

I was nervous too when I posted my first fic.

Unfortunately, there isn’t any advice that would work without fail. The best you can do is get it out there, trust me, there will be fans who like it (speaking from personal experiences as a lot of my P5 fanfics deal with unpopular fandom opinions but there are still fans who agreed with me and liked what I wrote). Toxic fans will always be there, sadly. Learning to ignore them is an art, you might say.

Regardless of what you end up doing, I wish you the best with your writing! ^^

not a question but after Royal this is how I view Haru and Ann; Haru: All Men are Kings! Ann: If he breathes... He's a SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMP! *Duel of the Fates intensifies* (I hope this doesn't sound as too harsh but oof i have issues with Haru...)

Oh no worries, neither do I.

Honestly, she’s only really good as a party member and any other character could have done the same so... if anything, Royal just digs her character deeper into the ‘my father/my fiance’ narrative and I’m not sure if Scramble can turn her around, so to speak. 

It’s a shame but you know it’s sad when the two new characters (Maruki and Kasumi) and a returning one (Goro) are better written than you are.

Once again, I’m sorry about the lack of activity on this blog.

I’ve recent got a PS4 and I’m basically just playing all the time now, including Royal. Generally speaking, there aren’t any major news recently either.

If Atlus posts something major Persona related, you can bet I will post about it though (such as a localization for P5S)

Any questions in regards to my opinion on Royal and such will be answered, too.

As of today, 

Persona 5 Royal has sold 1.4 million copies worldwide (as a PS4 exclusive)

Persona 5 Scramble has sold over 480k copies (please be aware that this is just certain Asian countries, a localization has not be announced yet. Likely both PS4 and Switch sales.)

Persona series lifetime sales are now at over 13 million copies sold.

Persona 5 The Animation is getting an official English dub (I assume via DVDs sometime this year? Not 100% certain)

I wouldn’t be surprised if they announced a Royal anime one of these days, either.

While the 23rd still isn’t here (so the P6 rumors are still just that), I want to say that I hope everyone is enjoying Persona 4 Golden on PC ^^ Here are some facts about the port that I’ve heard so far:

- over 29k people have been playing the game at the same time

- it was (and I think still currently is?) the most non-MMO game played on Steam

- the reviews are overwhelmingly positive

While all of that is amazing, please do be aware that the game came with Denuvo and that a lot of players are also experiencing issues with the port. Happy gaming! ^^

Since I can’t reply to specific replies on my posts anymore (I don’t know why, I used to be able to before I went on my break, did something change in the meantime?), for anyone asking me about P3 being ported, here is what I know:

Supposedly will be P3P but it’s just rumors right now and nothing has been confirmed.
