Note: Aomine Daiki is a famous Pro basketball player, The reader is a well known host in a famous live talk show. This is not proofread.

You don't know when it started. His lack of motivation to play the sport he always loved, when he started to play like he was alone on the court, the growing distance between him and his team, the cold shoulder he began to show you. It’d be a lie if you said that it didn’t affect you because it did — more than it ever could. You've been dating him for 3 years, ever since your freshmen year.

"I don't think this will work out y/n." Aomine spat. You were with him on the rooftop, having lunch together. He rubbed the back of his neck, pondering the right words to say.

"What do you mean, Daiki?" You asked calmly while stared at him, head slightly tilted  to the side, confused as to why he suddenly said that.

"Satsuki told me." He muttered, avoiding your gaze. He's not used to talking things out, He'd always prefer to solve it on court but how could he possibly ask that of you?

"Told you what?" You asked, genuinely confused. This annoyed him a bit, he always had a short temper, anyone who's close to him knows about it.

"That you declined an offer to study in America because of me!" He blurted out, turning to look at you, his expression filled with disappointment.

"Ah that? it's not a big deal~" You replied, you took it lightly, there's always a lot of opportunities…right?

"It is a big deal! Y/n you have a dream, aren't you working really hard right now because you want to achieve that dream?!" his voice raised.

"B-but I'm worried that there’d be a distance between us! I don't want that to happen!" You stuttered, trying to explain yourself as you looked up at him. His eyes remained staring at yours.

"The Y/n I know wouldn't let an offer slip by as long as it's to chase their dreams." He simply replied, his eyebrows met, his disappointed expression was replaced with a cold gaze. A chill ran down your back, his cold demeanor, you weren't used to it, not even in the slightest bit. Sure he was a tease, but he never gave you a cold shoulder.

"If this relationship is what prevents you from moving forward to achieve your goals, I think it's best if we end it here." He announced, walking away from you.

You stared at his back growing smaller until he was finally out of sight. You couldn't process what happened. It was so sudden and uncalled for. You were left there frozen. 

"Did he really break up with me because I declined an offer…?" You asked yourself, you didn't even notice that tears were already flowing down your cheeks. You couldn't explain what you felt, all you knew was that you were upset because the relationship you gave your all ended just because you sacrificed a huge offer for something such as 'love'.

"—/n… y/n!" a voice cuts you off from your thoughts.

"You were spacing out, are you okay?" Your colleague asked, she looks at you with worry filling up her face.

"I'm alright, what were you saying?" You asked, a gentle smile planted on your lips and was about to take a sip from your coffee.

"As I was saying, our guest this weekend will be the famous Pro basketball player, Aomine Daiki!" She cheered excitedly. You accidentally spit your coffee on her face in surprise. "I'm sorry…" You muttered while she just smiled at you, no 'it's ok' , no reply, just a smile. You froze sweatdropping at her reaction and handed her your handkerchief which she happily used to wipe her face. Not believing what you've heard you asked her once again.

"Who…?"

"Aomine Daiki!" She repeated cheerfully.

You imagined your soul leaving your body as you lean on your chair lifelessly. 'Is this the day that I die?' you thought to yourself dramatically.

Your colleague pondered for a moment before hitting her fist on her palm as if she just remembered something important."By the way, the management will be the ones writing down the questions you will ask him! It will be based on the frequently asked questions of the fans of sir Aomine!" Your colleague cheered as she clapped her hands together.

As for you…well you have no choice but to accept it.

Time flew by fast as it was already the scheduled interview with Aomine Daiki, the man you had loved with all your heart within the three years that you two were together. You're currently getting ready, the makeup artist making sure that your make up is alright while you take deep breaths.

'It's okay! I've moved on, I can do it. Do it like what I've always been doing. Professionally.' You thought to yourself.

"Come up!" The director shouted, gesturing for you to come up the made-up stage for the shoot, which made you comply while thinking of words of encouragement to yourself.

You sat on the couch that was prepared, one for you and one for your guest — your past lover, Aomine Daiki. You rest your clipboard on your lap, gripping it tightly. You're more nervous than you thought you would be, you stare at the door where the guest is supposed to enter, keeping your professional image intact. A smile you've always worn with cameras around, the straight posture, the approachable vibe, everything.

The door creaked open, revealing him — dark skinned, tall, handsome, navy blue hair, his deep blue eyes that you loved. You felt a gentle wind hit your face softly as soon as he entered, you stared at him longer than you should, your mouth parted as if you were about to say something. 'I made it without you, are you proud?' a question that you can't ask. You pursed your lips, forcing a smile despite feeling like there's a lump in your throat.

"Let's welcome our guest for the weekend, our professional basketball player who's not only well-known by men but also women! Aomine Daiki!" You cheered, clapping as you gestured for him to sit across you.

"I will be your host for today sir Aomine, I'm L/n Y/n, please feel free to call me Y/n. I hope you're having a great day so far." You interacted with him professionally, trying not to let the past affect you.

"I'll be in your care, Y/n." Aomine replied softly. Your heart ached, the way he said your name makes it hard to keep the professional act up. You want to tackle him in a hug telling him how much you missed him. You want to cry in his arms, complain about how hard it was without him by your side.

"I won't disappoint, sir Aomine." You replied, the forced smile you had earlier was replaced with something soft, more real. You stared deep into his eyes, his eyes that you love oh so much.

"First! we will be asking you 4 main questions in total, these questions are picked from the most frequent questions asked by your fans. Whether you will answer or not will be up to you!" You explained cheerfully that he just nodded, staring at your face as if observing your facial expressions. 

"Great, shall we start with the first question then?" You asked him, holding up your trusty clipboard as you smiled happily.

"Yes, go ahead." 

"The first and most frequently questioned. Is it true that you don't do interviews? Fans are curious as to why they don't see you in any interview clips." You asked, staring at him with a smile while you wait for his answer.

"It's true. I don't like interviews, they pry into my personal life too much." He replied with ease.

"Is that so…What makes this interview different from the others?" You asked, keeping up the outgoing image you have built over the years. Silently hoping for his answer towards the said question.

"What makes it different huh…" He trailed off, thinking for a moment as he stared at you. "It's because you're the one who's asking questions." He replied as if it's the most natural answer ever.

You froze at his answer, you tried to laugh. "I see that our guest is quite the flaterrer." You pointed out which he just shrugged in reply.

"Okay! for the second question… How did you feel when you first lost to Seirin?" You moved on to the next question.

He pondered for a moment, thinking of the right words to say. "It was refreshing." He replied.

"How so?" You asked.

"I realized that time when I experienced my second loss because of my pride and arrogance." another reply, his voice gentle just as how he talked to you when you were still together.

Your breath hitched. "second loss?" you asked, voice low and cracked.

"Oh you know, love." He explained in a way that only you could understand.

You nod, clearing your throat. "Moving on to the third question." You paused, a question that would determine if he already had someone in his heart. "Who do you dedicate your success to?" You asked, voice shaky.

Aomine noticed, he always does. He smiled. "I dedicate this success to someone very important to me. They've been with me before I even decided to go pro. They helped me choose a path for myself." He replied, pausing as his deep blue eyes stared into yours.

You nod, your lips pursed. Tears threaten to form at the corner of your eyes. You can't cry, not when there's a lot of cameras, not when this is live.

"For the last question…Do you ever have any regrets in the past?" You asked, your smile fades, you stare at him with so much longing. You missed him deeply, you still love him, there's not a single time that you have not loved him.

"I do." He replied almost immediately. "I regret letting go of them, not being able to be by their side during their accomplishments. Not being the one to be the first to know about their day." He added, his voice still cool yet gentle as if he's comforting you. "But maybe because of that, they've finally reached their goal without anyone to hinder them."

You nodded, forcing a smile. "That will be all, thank you so much for participating and actively answering the questions." You thanked him, both of you said your goodbyes to the viewers.

You turned your head to look at him. He's already staring at you with gentle eyes along with a soft smile. "Congratulations for finally achieving your goal." He whispered, enough for you to hear.

Beads of tears finally started forming at the corner of your eyes, letting them out after all the things he said. "Im sorry for making such a dumb decision back then." You muttered, lowering your head to wipe your tears.

He held out his hand to pat your head. "You don't have to worry about it anymore, I'm here."

Part two Biker! Ronin x Reader

Sum : Chaos, the one word you can think of every time you see him. The devil you always try to avoid yet fate itself finds a way for the both of you to meet. His vibe screams cool, messy, carefree, and most importantly — dazzling. That makes your buried feelings resurface.

Ronin has always been patient with you, he has always given you what you wanted when you weren’t in the position to give it to yourself. Food, attention, love, care, anything you could ever ask for. Even though he often teased you, he was worried for your health and how you feel. So much for being so-called 'enemies' huh?

Sometime six years ago.

"Your garage looks messy." You pointed out as you looked around the said surroundings, both of you decided to hang out at his house since you had some free time to spare. You wanted to hang out at your favorite cafe but the burgundy haired man had other plans. "C'mon now darlin' isn't that what garages are supposed to look like?" He replied, a smug smirk planted on his face. "No, our garage looks neat and clean, thank you very much." You huffed and crossed your arms. "'course it does. You neatnik." Replied the man as he walked towards his bike that looked like it was in the process of getting fixed.

"You wanted to hang out here because you're fixing your Ducati?" You asked, raising an eyebrow at the man who was by now kneeling at the side of said bike. "Well, duh, It's such a bother not to have this lil' guy y'know?" He replied, huffing as he took the materials that were just lying on the floor and continued where he left off.

You swear your eyes were on his bike, yet his figure caught your attention. Standing there with your arms crossed, you watched him fix his vehicle with expertise as if he's used to fixing things. It made you wonder, can he also fix your currently swirling mind and rapid beating heart? You froze and shook your head as if dismissing the thought, a faint shade of pink crept up your cheeks.

As Ronin was busy fixing his bike, you wandered around his garage, humming and looking around. There were a lot of things just lying around the floor of the garage, especially on the work tables. No matter how you look at it, it's a complete mess but that's already a given for the devil himself. He’s a messy guy after all.

"You don't have any chairs lying around?" You interrupted and turned your attention back to the man fixing his bike.The sudden question made him pause and turned his head towards you. "Does your feet hurt?" He asked as he put the material down and stood up before he pointed at the nearby tree from his garage. "You can sit under that tree temporarily." He replied as he gave you a small smile. "Do you have any snacks?" You asked, staring at his back while he guided you towards the said tree and took his jacket off to spread it on the grass. 

"I can make some." He replied once again and gestured for you to take a seat. "Are you sure?" You asked, taking a seat on the jacket he laid out for you which earned a nod from him. "I'll be right back, don't do anything careless." He teased, his usual smirk finally showed as he turned his back from you and walked away to make some snacks that you asked for. Your gaze followed his figure and scanned him. 'He looks hot without his jacket.' Your thoughts trailed off, you hummed with your arms around your knees while you smiled to yourself.

The next day after your classes, he again brought you to his garage. Getting off his bike after he parked it inside, you struggled to take your helmet off. "Having trouble, sweet pea?" He asked, his helmet now off as he gave you his usual sly smirk. After he put his helmet on the seat of his bike, he turned his attention to you, the burgundy haired man held his hand out to raise your head a bit and leaned down while he fiddled with the retention strap of your helmet. Your heart was beating fast, you unintentionally held your breath as you could feel the warmth of his touch. As soon as he finally took your helmet off, you were greeted by his pretty face being so close to yours. A small squeak escaped your lips as both of you got lost in each other's eyes. This made Ronin smirk and chuckle. 

"Like what you see, darlin'?" He interrupted, and your face instantly flushed red as a strawberry. "Oh please! I despise every bit of you." You said in a panic and turned your head away from him, obviously flustered by his words and actions. This made him laugh and took his helmet that was resting on the seat of his bike to put it aside. "I'll get some snacks." He informed you before the man made his way inside his house.

You watched his figure, your distance increased at every step, a sigh escaped your lips as you cupped your cheeks with both of your palms as an attempt to calm yourself down. After you've somehow coaxed yourself to calm down, you took a deep breath and started to look around. There was something different if you compare it from yesterday. There weren't any materials that laid around the floor anymore, the garage work tables are also neat, the air doesn't smell like gasoline nor oil, and most importantly there was a brand new couch at the corner of the garage. 

You made your way towards it. "Did he buy this for me?" You asked yourself while you paused and thought for a long while. "What're you thinking about so hard, darlin'?" Ronin whispered teasingly from behind you holding a bag of chips and two sodas. "I bought this for you, bunny. Are you happy?" He asked in a teasing way while he put the snacks and drinks he brought on the coffee table in front of the couch before taking a seat, manspreading as he patted the seat beside him as if he was telling you to take a seat. You rolled your eyes at him and huffed followed by a mutter, "You're insufferable." Before taking a seat beside him, a small and barely noticeable smile planted on your lips.

His garage was both yours and Ronin's hang out spot after ya'll's classes. You come over on days when you feel down and when you miss him. He came to you whenever you needed him. Both of you had each other's back even if both of you argued often. That was until you stopped showing up to your classes. You also stopped responding to his messages, stopped going to his house, stopped everything. It would be a lie if he said that he didn’t miss you because he does. He waited outside your classroom every. Damn. Time. Waited at his garage, hoped that you’d show up and say something to him. He even went to your rented apartment but to no avail, no one answered. All these lingering feelings, attachment and thoughts stayed with him for a whole month, he asked himself if he did something to make you upset, if there was something wrong, if you didn’t want to stay with him anymore, but most importantly – if all the years that both of you spent together was nothing for you to ghost him like this.

Until.

"I heard y/n moved abroad? lucky them, they get to experience life outside the country." Two people passed by him as he was waiting outside your supposed classroom. This flipped a switch inside his mind as he held himself back from asking why. People avoided him because he was chaotic, always got into fights, basically the stereotypical 'bad influence' as they all say. You were the only one who put up with his bullshit, the only one he would give his aorta to though he wouldn't admit it. He waited for you to reply to his messages, waited for you to show up at his doorstep. Every minute. Every hour. Every day, month and year he waited for you. There wasn't a time that you weren't in his mind, he believed that there's a time that fate would guide you towards each other again. He used the unsaid goodbyes as hope to meet you again.

"I'm sure we'll meet again someday, darlin', and I'll be waitin' for that day."

His vibe screams cool, messy, carefree, and most importantly — dazzling. His presence is so strong that you always seem to recognize his figure every damn time. You and him go way back in college, the frequent bickering because your interests don't align, your constant scoldings because he always seem to break the rules every.single.time, his God damn teasings and pet names that always makes your heart skip a beat, his smile that hides his slyness, and finally the feelings that you cannot seem to comprehend. You swear he's just someone who you go with because you've been friends since your college days, you swear he's just someone who always finds a way to annoy you in one way or another, you keep denying the feelings. The feelings you always seem to bury deep down in you just because of the 'amount of differences' you have.

You were always an organized type of person, you prioritize your peace over anything else. You were the complete opposite of Ronin Beaufort. He was as chaotic as the devil while you were as peaceful as an angel. The complete opposites of each other, yet somehow along the way both of you learned how to deal with each other's so-called differences, learned how to console each other with just the presence of one another. Until you decided to move countries to pursue your dream as a writer. A relative offered their help for you to learn and improve your writing skills. The two of you didn't get to say goodbye to each other, remained as enemies for as long as both of you could remember. Both lines were silent, neither of you reached out to each other because of the flow of life. You were busy with your own things while he was busy with his. The past 5 years flew by with no news about each other. You decided to move back as you were finally a successful writer within the years you were away.

Walking out of the cafe while hugging your laptop and papers, you froze. You were greeted by a lively surrounding, big screens, city lights, and a crowd of people that had their phones out as if trying to capture something. You were curious, slowly making your way towards the crowded area. You weren't planning on squeezing through people but the crowd pushed you towards the front as if your place was meant to be there. Almost falling face-first, you maintained your balance and lowly grumbled to yourself, 'Fuck…I shouldn't have come here..' the loud roar of engines cut you off, turning your head to look at the source of the lively noise. There a bunch of people gathered, three people lining up front as if preparing for a race. The others stayed behind, the dark skinned man seemed like he was done dealing with their group's shenanigans, the golden blonde man with a headband looked cheerful with whom seems to be his girlfriend holding him back from joining, and a loving couple who were talking to each other while staring at the three people in front of them.

"Make sure the two of you keep up m'kay?" a man's voice caught your attention, it was familiar, too familiar to the point that snapped your head to look at the said person.

"You bet’cha! I’m gonna beat your ass!" A cheerful voice shouted, their visor raised up while they grinned at the man.

"Please remember to stay safe while driving." The sweet tone of the blonde woman in the middle interrupted, as she raised her helmet to wear it.

"'m always safe bunny." The man raised his visor and winked at her, which earned a deadpan from the woman and held her hand out to shut his visor close.

You stood a bit far from where they are, you could barely make out their conversation which made you scoot a little closer yet maintained being on the side of the road. As you could finally get a good view and hear their conversation you froze, staring at the man who you felt was familiar. His figure, the way he talks, and most importantly the silver bracelet you gifted him. He’s the man you spent your whole college life with as 'friends', the man who provided you support and comfort when you were at your lowest, the man you kept thinking of during the years you were away, the man you didn't have the courage to say goodbye to… The man you always yearned for while you were abroad.

Raising his visor up while a smug smirk was planted on his lips while staring at the woman beside him he paused and glanced at your direction. Your eyes met, and you flinched as if startled by the sudden attention. You stared at him, his deep black eyes staring back at you, your eyes were glossy tears threatening to form at the corner of your eyes. You opened your mouth to say something but paused as soon as he turned his head away from you. It hurt. A tear flowed down your cheek as you bit your bottom lip. 'Right. Who would want to reconnect with someone who didn't even say their goodbyes?' you thought to yourself as you just stood there, clutching your laptop and papers.

"Ronin? it's time to start." interrupted by the blonde woman while she was riding her own bike.

"Oh. Right." Ronin replied shortly, he got lost in thought for a while there. Closing his visor, he glanced towards your direction again. It really is you. He couldn't stop a smile forming at the corner of his mouth. "'m so gonna win this for you, darlin'," he muttered to himself as the loud sounds of the engines could be heard signalling that they were already gonna start.

Before you even know it, their bikes dashed off as soon as the go signal was delivered. You stood there, staring at the back of the man you missed before finally walking away from the crowd, losing the hope of him reconnecting with you after you've done something that hurt his feelings.

Ronin's red Ducati was going fast, a good 160 kilometers per hour. The red lights of his bike passed through every vehicle like a laser. He avoided the stoplights, going through every rook and corner of the city with expertise. He was enjoying it, the adrenaline of feeling alive and the feeling of unmeasurable happiness of seeing you back.

"Ronin, it's best we put this race into a close. The police are already chasing the others." A man with a leather jacket informed Ronin, his voice's volume enough for the man to hear. "Who cares about the fucking police, I can outrun them!" Confidently shouted by Ronin as he was preparing to dash pass the man. "There are a lot more cops than you think!" Interrupted by the man again which Ronin just ignored. This ticked the man off a bit and dashed pass him. Ronin then took this as a form of competition between the two of them and gripped the handles of his bike tightly, revving it to pass him. It went by for a while until they finally arrived at their group's usual hang-out spot.

"We have arrived." V greeted the others, taking his helmet off and placed his bike on the side stand, taking his helmet off.

"Where's Ronin?" Angel asked, staring at V as the man looked back at her.

"Ronin informed be that he has some business to atted to." V informed as he looked as magnificent and proper as ever.

There was a knock at your door. It was quarter to 11 pm and you are up working on a novel you were writing. "Who is it?" You asked as you yawned, making your way towards the door.

"Pizza delivery." a man's voice can be heard from the other side while you opened the door, you did order some pizza as a late night snack, but what you didn't expect is that Ronin fucking Beaufort is infront of you. Smirking ever so teasingly while looking down at you, a box of pizza on hand.

"Long time no see, darlin'."

“Is Love a Crime?”

Part one

Yandere! V x Stalker! Reader

Sum : Love is a slow descent into madness, is what they all say. Starting from an emotion that one cannot process to something even logic cannot overcome.

An emotion so strong that you would be willing to do anything for that person, but what if that strong emotion gets greeted by a similar yet different emotion?

The interactions between you and V started small. The two of you only met because you were partnered up with him for a college project. Both of you were shy at first, but as time passed by, you grew closer. From simple greetings and only talking about a project, to hanging out when both of you had free time.

“How is it that I always get partnered up with you?” you ask him as the two of you wait for your order, a smile planted on your lips while you stare at him softly. Those are the things he admires the most, your sparkling eyes and soft smile. He wanted them to be for him alone. 

“I’m not so sure, maybe fate is saying something?” he replies, a chuckle escaping his lips as he locks his eyes on you. You’re gorgeous, ethereal even. 

Upon noticing him staring at you a little longer than usual, a slight tint of pink creeps up your cheeks. “You’re staring quite intensely,” you point out, trying to sound like you’re teasing him. 

“You’re lovely.” He comments, causing you to blush. Your face is as red as a tomato as you fan yourself, avoiding his gaze. 

An awkward laugh escapes your lips. “It’s hot in here, huh?” you ask, trying to look at anything except him.

“Really? I feel rather cold.” V replies resting his cheek on his palm while he gazes at you with a smile, amused by your actions.

“By the way, do you have any recommendations for apartments close to college?” you ask as your orders arrive, turning to give the waitress a small smile. “I’m looking to move, since my lease is up on my apartment and it’s too far to commute,” you continue after she leaves.

“Apartments close to college?” He repeats, turning his attention to the food you both ordered. “I do not think I have any recommendations, my apologies.” V adds lowering his head a bit.

“It’s okay! I can look for a place during our time off college,” you say, humming contentedly as you take a sip from your drink. What could you possibly do with just a few days off?

It’s been a few days since you and V last met. Both of you were busy with your own things, and the deadline for the project assigned to both of you was fast approaching. You hum to yourself  and shrug. “We’ll see each other later anyways,” You cheered happily while preparing to move apartments. 

A few hours went by and you’re moving boxes into your new apartment with a smile on your face. As you were about to move another box inside your apartment, you heard a familiar voice call your name from behind you. You turn to face the said person. “V! I didn’t know you lived here!” You cheer,  your smile growing wider on your face. Even though you and him had become closer these days, you haven’t really been into each other’s homes. 

“I see that you’re going to be my new neighbor.” He points out, giving you a soft smile while he was holding some cleaning supplies that he must have just bought from a nearby store.

Upon noticing the cleaning supplies, you tilt your head to the side a bit. “That’s a lot of cleaning supplies you’ve got there,” you point out. 

His gaze then fell on the bag he was holding. “Yes, it has been a while since I cleaned my apartment. I have been busy talking to a certain someone, you see.” He replies, the same soft and gentle smile planted on his face.

“Well, good luck!” You cheer and give him a thumbs up. 

“I’ll help you move your things,” he offers and puts the supplies he bought down to the side of your apartment’s door. 

“How kind of you to do so. I knew you could be trusted,” you clap, smiling innocently at him. Your tone held a slight malice that was easy to miss. 

“Of course, any time.” He replies, lifting a box up that was labelled ‘My V’.

“Be careful, that’s very important.” You warn him, smiling ever so innocently at him despite your eyes darkening for a fraction of a second, and continue on to move the other boxes.

V was confused at first but decided to ignore it, there was no way such a sweet person like you would have such malice hidden under that skin.

Both of you continue moving and unpacking the boxes.  It took a ridiculously long time, but you passed the five hours talking. Even so, it was a very tiring afternoon.

“You might have missed a couple boxes.” V points towards the said boxes, turning to look at you as if asking if you need any help with those. 

“It’s fine, I can deal with those myself,” You reply and hum. “Do you wanna have dinner with me?” you suddenly ask him, turning your head to look at him, only to see that he was already staring at you. 

He smiles. “I can’t. I have to deal with a huge mess in my apartment,” he replies softly and holds his hand out to pat your head. “Enjoy your dinner,” he adds and starts to walk away from you to grab the supplies he bought, before he makes his way towards his apartment.

Standing there in your now silent apartment, your eyes darken. “That was close.” You mutter and hum a tune. “Good thing he’s very understanding,” you whisper to yourself, smirking before you begin to open the unpacked boxes. It was filled with V’s pictures, the angles were weird, taken at every blindspot. You chuckle. “Valentin Viljoen, the man you are,” you whisper and kiss a picture of him.

As the object of your attention enters his apartment, he locks the door and hums. “Time to clean up the mess,” He sighs, making his way towards the hallway of his apartment. The sound of his footsteps echo throughout the closed space. Stopping in front of a certain door, he unlocks it, the expanse of his apartment spreading out in front to greet him. He locks the front door, and enters a tiled room through another. Once in the room, he closes the door. The room was slightly dim, a desk and a chair featuring as centrepieces  in the middle of the room. Nothing more, nothing less. A single well lit lamp focused on a bloody chair can be seen.

“This is all for you, my love.”

"Hunt You Down"

Part 2 | Ronin x Reader

“The Chase”

Tw : Obsession, Stalking, Thriller, Slight Spoilers

Waking up in a dark alley with a single lamp post as the source of light, you groan. “Where am I…?” You ask yourself, your eyesight is still a bit blurry. The air in the alley reeked of iron. The only light source is pretty far from where you’re standing, and the light is dim and broken. It flickers on and off every once in a while albeit just for a second. You get up, stumbling a bit as you lean on the cold wall for support. As you do though, you feel something. Liquid,warm to touch. You raise it to see what it is—but it’s too dim to see. You squint your eyes to try and get a better look, but to no avail, all you can see is a dark color. It isn’t clear if it’s black or blue because of the lack of light. 

Despite your growing headache, you start walking towards the lamp post. It’s unusually cold in this alley, cold enough that you could feel chills on your back every time the wind blew past. You weren’t dressed for this kind of climate, you were still wearing your pajamas. Upon arriving at the lamp post, you hold onto it for stability while looking around. Only to see that it was an unfamiliar yet oddly familiar alley.

In the light, your hands catch your attention and all the color drains from your face. What…What is this?!”you think, staring at your palm, soaked with a dark red substance. This made your breath hitch, frantically wiping your hands on the post in a panic. 

“This can’t be what I think it is..right?” you ask yourself. While you wipe the liquid off your palm, you hear footsteps approaching behind you. You freeze.

“Well, isn’t it my sweet darling whom I missed so much?” a voice from behind said. You slowly turn your head towards the voice, a small squeak escaping your lips. Standing before you is a burgundy haired man, grinning devilishly at you with a crowbar in hand— the end of it resting casually on his shoulder.

“You….are?” You ask, but it’s obvious who it is. You couldn’t believe it. It isn’t possible that Ronin Beaufort is in front of you. Ronin fucking Beaufort in the flesh.

“Who else sweetheart? I'm your dream. Your little wish fulfillment,” he cooed as he took a few steps closer to you. Every step he took forward, you matched with a step backwards. It can’t possibly be true. This is a dream. There’s no way a character from a game could come to life. Right?

You were hyperventilating now, unable to think rationally. The fear is overwhelming. You’re scared, really scared. 

Before you even knew it, you started to run. You run as fast as you can. You can only think of surviving, knowing that if you approach that man you will end up dead.

“Dead? Hah! As if! I'm gonna get out of here alive.” You thought to yourself as you entered a random house. It wasn’t even locked—it was as if it was welcoming you to enter. Alarm bells ring in your mind, but you shove your suspicions down. The only thing on your mind is your survival. You lock the door behind you, and sigh in relief, thinking you’re finally safe.

“Darling? Are you there? C’mon, I went to such lengths to meet you, and this is how you treat me? How cold~” Ronin crooned, the pout audible in his voice as he knocked on the door. 

You clutch your hands to your mouth to cover it, to prevent any sound from coming out. You slowly and silently make your way towards the kitchen to grab something that could help you defend yourself. You frantically look around the kitchen searching desperately for anything, a knife, hammer, flashlight, anything that can be used as a weapon! But to your surprise, all the knives are gone,as if hidden intentionally to prevent you from protecting yourself. You feel like you’ll lose your mind any minute now, you’re  scared, anxious, and desperate. 

Before you can even calm yourself down, you see a figure from the small window in the kitchen. You rush your way towards the back door and lock it as fast as you can. A sigh of relief escaped your lips. 

“I’m impressed, you’re pretty quick on your feet aren’t you, Darling?” The man happily grinned after turning the door knob. 

“What do you want from me?!” You scream, your voice trembling and your hands shaking. You feel like crying, but crying won’t solve the situation you’re in now. You have no choice but to think about survival. Your survival.

“Hm~ I just wanted to meet you, darling. Is that so bad?” His voice was sweet, but a hint of pure malice bled through. He was playing with you. 

“Bullshit!” You cussed. This reaction earned a laugh from him. A laugh that sent chills down your spine but oddly…pleasing?

You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself as you glared at Ronin through the door separating you. “I swear, if I get out of here alive, I’m gonna report you to the police.” You threatened him before you turned your back on the door and started walking away from it. 

“That is…If you can.” Ronin mutters to himself as he chuckles. He’s wanted to play with you for a while. He wants to chase you and make you lose your mind, so he’ll play this game while following your rules.

You huffed, scared of the situation you’re in. You’ve made it upstairs, walking around the hallways. The lights were off, and the hallways were silent. Only the ticking of the clock and your footsteps could be heard. Seriously, what’s up with this place and all the non well-lit places?! You cry in your head gripping your hands tightly while you desperately look around for a place to hide.The current situation is no doubt creepy. Who wouldn’t get creeped out by this? There isn’t even a single person in this house, hell there wasn’t even a single person around the street! You freeze. There isn’t a single person in this house. The doors had been unlocked, as if welcoming you to enter. Ronin didn’t try to force himself in—hell, he didn’t even bang on the door! 

You take a deep,shaky breath, feeling the anxiety and fear flood your body once more.

Creak

The sound from the door downstairs echoes up to you. You can’t move an inch. You’re like a deer in headlights, shaking from fear. Footsteps grow closer as the man hums a tune. 

‘Move! Please move!’ You desperately urge yourself as you finally break from your panic and rush to the nearest room. You lock it immediately. This room, unlike the others, is a well lit red, the monitor of a computer on. You decide to approach it, curious about what it was. As soon as you see what’s onscreen though, your mouth parts and you cover your mouth to stop a gasp from escaping your lips. It showed your apartment, the positions of the cameras the same as the webcams you had equipped for your safety.  As you were just about to ask yourself what the hell was happening and how the hell did he do it, the door clicked. A sign that it was unlocked from the outside. 

You rush to hide in the closet, your heart beating fast and your ears ringing. You swallow back a sob and you close your eyes tight, afraid of what’s to come. 

“Ah, I assume you already saw this? It wasn’t that hard to obtain these, honestly.” Ronin calls out as his footsteps echo around the room, slowly, like he’s taking a stroll. 

“I’m sure you’re scared right now, but I won’t do anything to you. I promise.” He added as his footsteps grew closer. You couldn’t hear anything but your own heartbeat. 

“Hm…where are you hiding, bunny?” He coos, and chuckles as he raises the covers of his bed and kneels down. “Are you here?” Nothing. Humming in acknowledgement, he stands up and turns to look at the closet. 

“The closet is looking rather…” He trails off. His steps are heavy, obvious that he was approaching the closet. You couldn’t help but choke up a sob.

The closet door creaks open, and there he stands, his grin wide and menacing. 

“Found you, darling.”
