The time has come to do Christmas shopping…actually, the time was the day after Thanksgiving and I fell completely into the capitalist trip of all these special deals and sales but I’m trying to cut myself some slack here. I know the holidays aren’t about presents, but I can’t help it! I love gift giving and gift buying and I have so much fun trying to outdo myself each year. I’ve got a nice little collection started and while I’m not stoked about all the wrapping I’ll have to do, I still can’t wait to see the looks on my loved ones’ faces when they see what they get. This year I’m just excited to see my family, but I would also kill for a tropical vacation! Life has been a bit crazy lately and I’m ready for it to slow down a bit. Ev: Yeah, man. Trying to do the whole wining and dining thing, with zero experience. Both my other girlfriends were literally introduced to me at parties.

Ev: Maybe not at the moment, but if I'm about to dive into this world of dating, you gotta do the same. I can't explore this territory alone, it's terrifying. Backside tailslides? No problem. Sushi and /talking/? Bro, no.

ELi: Ha. Of course you did. Well, she seems to be making you happy so it was a good thing.

okay, so i’m home and my puppy’s next to me and we watch the hanging kitchen lamp move on it’s okay and i look to angel, my pup and i tell her it’s just the air conditioning and she puts her head back down. but then, the kitchen lamp swings again and my aircon isn’t actually strong enough to do that. but i don’t know if i’m scared at the fact that there’s a ghost in the house or the fact that my dog understands when i speak to her conversationally. like, how much has she understood this entire time?

i think dogs understand a lot more than we think they do and sometimes i wish they could talk back to us because i think it would be so funny. as for the potential ghost in your house... i wouldn’t worry too much.
