@culturaladuba: INTERVIEW Sebastian Stan for Cultura la dubă: "When you're a kid, you're always trying to find your home. You live here, you go there, then to another country. You want to be like everyone else. But, in the end, those years made me. Without all that chaos, my childhood in Romania, going to Austria, then America, all of that built me and otherwise I wouldn't be here. I'm convinced that if I had been born in America and lived there forever, I wouldn't be where I am today." In his first and only interview for a Romanian publication after winning the Golden Globe and being nominated for the Oscars, Sebastian Stan talks at length about his journey, both personally and professionally, about his collaboration with Cristian Mungiu for the film "Fjord", now selected in the official competition at Cannes, or about painful topics, such as the loss of his father. What role does film play in this whole story? It is the art through which Stan can make his most authentic contribution to a world torn by conflicts. And it is also part of his own quest. The interview was conducted by Alexandra Tănăsescu and took place in Norway, in April 2025, during a filming break at "Fjord". The material also presents the first images of Sebastian Stan on the set at Fjord, captured by photographer Adi Bulboacă for Cultura la dubă. SEBASTIAN STAN as BUCKY BARNES THUNDERBOLTS*
A man can have all the power in the world and you'll see him have a family and friends and a happy life. A woman has a limited amount of power she's allowed, if she gets more than that, it's too much for her to handle and therefore she is stripped of it one way or another
I don't even care about stranger things, but it's so sickening to see this repeat over and over again
sometimes i think about vision saying, "it's alright. you could never hurt me. i just feel you"
and then wanda said, "you're my sadness and my hope. but mostly, you're my love"
and something inside me breaks again
