"Paris, hours in the café, a certain spirit of rebellion, one side a bit too stubborn. The sea, the truth, in Bretagne; the walking in Provence, the taste, the passion for literature, the libraries, the beautiful editions. Remaking the world in a set of hours around a table and a bottle of wine. Talking without really saying anything, just for the pleasure of talking. The museums, the theatres, the elegance, the delicacy, the heritage of the Illustration, an humanistic philosophy. The balance we got between a nordic rigor and a latin savoir-vivre, the insolence and the freedom." - Clémence Poésy, Your France?
Is the great French actress Catherine Deneuve or Jeanne Moreau? A kind of coldness and control, or a lightness and spontaneity?

Angelic updo by Guido Palau at Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2014
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana took their love affair of Sicily and bombshell Sophia Loren down a softer, more refined route for their spring collection. Hair stylist Guido Palau created cherubic chignons nestled with tiny flowers that complemented the collection of lace and embroidered dresses.
To prep hair, Palau used Redken Guts 10 for texture and Powder Refresh 01 to minimize shine. Then, using a half-inch barrel, hair was curled and strands from both sides were twisted back and secured near the middle of the head. The remainder was gathered into a single, loose braid that was coiled and pinned into place. But in true Dolce & Gabbana fashion, a touch of opulence was added in the form of delicate embellishments, like floral headbands and jeweled combs, to complete the dreamy look.
