Sync was taken aback by how suddenly it was that Florian had flung his body against him. The only thing keeping him on his feet was the wall at his back. He held his arms at his side, taking time to process what exactly was happening. The hand on his skin left him confused and disoriented. This was Florian, right?

Sync raised his arms and placed them on Florian’s shoulders, rubbing them gently and not knowing what else to do to comfort the boy. What threw him off even more was the lips against his skin. Considering how Florian clung to him, there wasn’t much that he could do about it, so he tried his hardest to ignore it.

"Florian… I’m not going to leave you alone but…" He sighed. He was exhausted. He didn’t even know what time of night it was and he could feel the sleep in his eyes. "You should get some sleep." Yeah, that was a great excuse. "We can talk in the morning. You can use my bed if you want. I’ll sleep in the chair or something. It’s late."
