For the weekend i have a paid motel but on monday and after i will be completely homeless with nowhere to sleep. it’s very hard to get a place in my area that’s affordable and there’s a 2% acceptance rate. I don’t have much in my savings but um. if anyone can donate just a little i would so very very very much appreciate it…. my family kicked me out and i’ve got no one to turn to that can share the space right now. everything is so tight here it’s ridiculous. even if you donate maybe signal boost this?

Me and fuwa-fuwa-clear are always throwing ideas back and forth but y’see I’m a dinosaur nut. I always have been. Dinos have always been one of my favorite things ever since I was little. So when I heard Jurassic World was coming out, an idea just kinda... sparked? Like I already really love DMMd, I think about DMMd every day. When I heard about Jurassic world, I was thinking about it every day too. So the two ideas just kinda collided one lazy afternoon and like a very confused stoner I asked “So like... what if.. what if raptor hybrid??” And she asked me to explain and so then all hell broke loose.
Take two of your favorite things, and mash them together. Sometimes they just sound silly, like I thought mine did, but in reality it will appeal to people! Someone out there is going to love your content and want to hear more of it. Take two things you’re really passionate about and just mash ‘em together. Seriously, take a historical time, some other media, a cartoon, and just try to see if they mingle yeah? Anything you want. The more you care about the content you’re mixing together, the better it’ll be and the more fun you’ll have.
I hope that explains it? If not I’m sorry;;; Cause that’s really just kinda how it happened. How the details came about tho was just me pulling ideas out of my ass trying to put together what roles people would play and how the hybrid anatomy would work and stuff. Naturally you’re gonna wanna take “artistic liberties” tho cause if you try to make it _too_ perfect it won’t really work well. Like we have no real idea how raptors would behave and esp in that setting so they act more like cats than anything else.
Ok so, since fuwa-fuwa-clear has gotten a bunch of asks about it, I thought I might try to better explain what raptor!AU was originally and what it has since turned into.
I was the one who originally pitched the idea (and I thought it was silly at first because I was so pumped for Jurassic world like holy shit you have no idea) but it turns out it has quickly turned into our favorite AU. This is a pretty long post so I’ll put the rest under a cut.
PS. Also I won’t bring nsfw stuff into this too simply because I know it can squick people out or even trigger them, just know basically every AU we do w/ the raptors involves having babies. Babies everywhere.
PSS. The characters can and will get ooc at times because this is not Midorijima. Everyone has a different life and Aoba and Sei are being raised by completely different people.
Originally it was Clear as a researcher that worked for Toue, owner of Jurassic World. Well just like how indominus rex was created through hybridization in order to bring more people to the parl, so were two little raptor hybrids, Aoba and Sei. (Naturally given cliche serial numbers that the staff translated to names. “A-0B-4″ and “S-31″) Except the babies are made to be half raptor and half human. The reasoning being, that if they had at least partial human intelligence, they would be easier to train so they could be used in shows or walked around the park.
Originally Aoba and Sei were kept together in the paddock, along with other raptors. What prompts the change is that Sei is a very quiet raptor that is always waiting for his researcher (Daddy according to Sei, who he is very attached to) to come out and spend time with him. But Clear always breaks that rule and brings Sei in to hang out and cuddle in his office.
Meanwhile Aoba is having “feral outbursts”. Which really is just Sly coming out. Sly causes a lot of “problems”. Like bullying the other raptors (that originally bullied Aoba) and biting the staff and such. Which now leads us to our other characters!
Mink - Warden of the park. He understands the raptors and other dinosaurs better than the researchers. He can track, fight, incapacitate a raptor with his bare hands, etc. He’s there to keep everyone safe and the animals in their paddocks. he is also the object of Sly’s and Aoba’s affections, which means he, the grumpy old man that he is, gets caught up in more shit than he wants to put up with.
Koujaku - Admittedly, he has an eye for detail. He was hired to watch the raptor’s health. He is the first to notice when a raptor looks pale or when the sheen is gone from their feathers or anything else that may mean the raptors are not at their best. After all, to Toue, these animals are an investment so they have to look their best all the time.
Noiz - (I do apologize I pick on him so much. This AU is not terribly Noiz-friendly but please don’t let that stop you from making a variant of the AU that is more Noiz friendly.) Noiz is there to manage basically everything electrical. He monitors security, makes sure power reaches every inch of the park, just makes sure everything is running as it should. He also about pleasure. He can feel things but he’s known a lot of pain so it makes him selfish and seek out things that make him feel good. Like a fight or getting in someone’s pants, etc.
Mizuki - Ok really he just runs a bar on the island and keeps everyone drunk and happy and bothers the scientists from time to time. Without him everyone would have already died from stress. But he is also dragged into a lot of shit thanks TO the scientists. Like suddenly making him babyraptorsit while they go off an do who knows what. He gets his very own office too! That he fills with toys that attracts curious raptors. He can usually be seen hanging out with Theo.
Theo - Resident intern and gets stuck with more shit than Mizuki. Always running to get coffee for people or keep raptors busy. (He’s really good at it) When he’s not doing that though, he’s learning from Noiz to not really take over for him, but to be someone to help take some of the workload.
Tae: She doesn’t make many appearances but she’s acting head of the park while Toue is off chilling in a hot tub somewhere and pulling in the profits. Tae gladly pulls sneaky stuff to help the raptors though.
So that being said, Mink is charged to get Aoba “under control” and Sei, since he seems to be more obedient and “human-like”, he gets put on the fast track to be a show animal. (Though that doesn’t really go as planned thanks to Clear actually seeing the human in Sei and that he’s just as smart as any person and basically that begins the battle for Sei to get the citizenship he deserves and to be treated as a human. (The same goes for Aoba just at a different pace because him and Mink are going through shenanigans thanks to Sly and eventually they end up coupling, just as Sei and Clear do.)
Now, that’s what the AU was originally. Since then we have explored so many variants I can’t even keep track.
Examples:
Variant 1: Everything is the same but Clear and his brothers are instead raptors and meant to be guards but Clear is too nice and sweet and fails raptor guard academy and Sei works as a researcher and Aoba as a tour guide.
Varient 1.1: Same thing except Sei and Aoba remain raptors too. It ends pretty sadly ngl.
Varient 2: Clear is the proud researcher papa of 4 fabulous fluffs. Sei, Aoba, Ren and Sly. It’s a hell of a handful, you can imagine. 4 babies all tugging at the leash but none more than Sly. Sly is always full of mischief, Sei is quiet and reserved and just wants to sit on a lap, Aoba is pretty “normal”. Plays sometimes, sleeps at a normal hour, just a well rounded baby. Ren is never more than a few feet from Aoba. He’s concerned 24/7 for Aoba. He’s protective of all his siblings but Aoba more so.
Varient 3 (and one of my favorites): Angry smol and sharp housemate - A lot of Variants include Clear or Aoba and Sei escaping their confinements and running away and being found by just normal people who think they found a really fucking weird cat. This one specifically is Clear taking out his garbage and finding a small fluffy but grimy thing in his garbage can that can’t get out and Clear gets a towel and grabs it and brings it in and it’s angry and scared and bitey and Clear lets it go in his house and for a while Clear just kinda, lives with this small and angry fluff that lives under his couch and Clear leaves meals out for him and water and even gets toys and treats and later Clear moves the couch and finds that Sei stole every fucking chapstick tube in the house and has been hoarding them under the couch.
Varient 3.1: The same except it’s Sei who finds Clear outside and instead of being angry Clear just looks at Sei and holds his arms up. Clear is always looking for affection. Sei is then basically adopted by Clear despite Clear being the baby because Sei has 0 choice in this matter.
Varient 3.2: Same thing except it involves a battle of wills of Sei just wanting to live alone for a while but finds out a pudgy animal has been sneaking in and out of his house and has every intention of staying there. Even goes so far as breaking the doggy door to get in the house. (Sei didn’t want it but the previous owners put it in and Sei hasn’t had time to seal it up.) That baby is a cuddle monster and he is going to cuddle this tall human.
Variant 4+: Many of these are just variants where Sei or Clear find Clear or Sei and they have odd professions which leads to many shenanigans. Like for one, Sei taking Clear when he’s still pretty small, out for his first dive and Clear, being the big water lover that he is, goes all mooneyed and flails so much because he is just SO excited.
Varient 5+: These variants are pretty young. It’s mostly Sei or Clear being a researcher and adopting the little raptor baby who often escapes the research labs but doesn’t get far so they hide in said person’s office. Usually this means Sei basically living with Clear and staying in his office and going home with “daddy” and sneaking into Noiz’s office to mess _something_ up for always trying to mess with daddy.
These are just a few things we’ve thought of. each story has so many details I can’t write them all without this post getting EVEN LONGER. Small things like Clear tickling Sei’s raptor beans while he sleeps just to watch baby wiggle and make sleep peeps but Sei gets squeaky and will always sleep bap the nearest thing. Sometimes it’s Clear, sometimes it’s a stuffed animal, somtimes it’s himself. (Which leads to whimpers and needy cuddles. So yeah, if you wanna know more, please send us more questions!

I know this may come as a shock to a few people but I know a good portion of you were expecting it. As you can plainly tell by my url, we’ve “sold out” as many of these young and hip children would put it. I own 49% of stock so the company is no longer mine but I’m glad to say none of you are losing your jobs, but there will be a few changes. From now on the employees listed below must now work in a new uniform every day and if they are seen out of their uniforms, every other employee is required to give said rule breaker a firm slap on the ass or a hard pinch.

So, as you guys already know, I had to pay some bills off from my school loans, and as it turns out, my college charged me for getting out of their school. (Crazy, right?) They charged me close to $500 without my knowledge, plus the additional $200+ (for other means of which I did know about). Now, I’ve gotten commissions to help pay the $200 bill (thank you!!), but now, I have another big bill to pay off (which, they’re giving me 3 days (March 14, 2015) to pay this all off OTL)
My family and I don’t really have a good relationship right now, what with the problems we have with each other, so they won’t be helping me with paying this all off. (Plus, I haven’t been able to find a job since I’ve been back to my hometown)
So, I will be trying to be more active with my commissions to pay this all off. I’ll call my school’s office as soon as I can tomorrow to see if they could hold this bill until the end of this month, so I will have more time to do more commissions to pay it off. But at the moment, I need as much help as I can, so they won’t start charging me more for money I don’t have.

Title says it all. I've been playing Fire Emblem Awakening and I just keep imaging Mink to be a Wyvern Lord. And he loves it. Because everyone underestimates him because of one reason. He rides the biggest, pinkest Wyvern you could possibly imagine. Everyone thinks he looks silly. This giant man, on the back of a giant pink dragon. Which Mink is glad to take advantage of. He's able to cut them down twice as fast while they giggle.
