Hey everybody! Itâs time to discuss our first plot point now that everybody has gotten acquainted with each other.
As the week comes to a close, weâd like all ongoing F2Fs to conclude. In addition, weâd like your characters to begin to congregate together on the shore. The spot itself isnât that specific, however, the shipwreck itself is somewhat visible out in the distance when you look towards the ocean. There are potentially salvageable things floating around, most notably luggage bags. It is up to you what your character does at this point in time. Here are a few potential leaping points:
A) Everybody is meeting up for the first time. Everybody will see each other. Naturally, there will be side conversations and theories to see what possible strategies will work to letting people head out to the shipwreck if they so please. Keep in mind that group paras/f2fs are also welcome as everybody is in a group conversation right now. This would be an excellent time to slip into peopleâs messages and ask if they wanted to pair up. Keep in mind that while you may have certain ships in mind, that the main point of the game right now is survival. Is your character going to only care about love and building a relationship with one person while there might be something life-saving floating around? Will your character be one of the ones to sit around and explore the nearby beach as opposed to helping out in the salvage operation? What sort of attitudes and ideas does your character have about their current situation? If youâd like some help discussing a potential group post, the admin themselves are very open to helping the group facilitate this potential.
B)Â Once A) has been thought about, the actual attempts at salvaging the gear might be a good thing to write about. Perhaps your character wishes to attempt to do something on their own (self-para). Maybe two characters try to swim together out there and encounter deadly sea creatures, causing them to return back to the safety of the shore.
C) Thereâs always the option of not doing anything and simply ignoring the perils of the open sea and trying to do something on the island itself. This is linked with B) in the sense that it is the exact opposite of attempting the salvage. Fire more important? Get a wood gathering group. Itâs up to you and your character.
This is a long post, however it is up to you how you want to go about the next few days here. This post is an attempt to steer you guys in the âright directionâ in terms of the plot, but it is in no way absolutely mandatory that you participate in the salvage. The only thing that is mandatory, is that your characters begin grouping up with each other. Thank you all for being amazing so far!

Rachel often heard from her fathersâ friends whenever they had a dinner parties that she changed their lives for the better and she would smile brightly in response because she believed it to be true. It was for a certain extent but what they didnât know was how everything about Hiram and LeRoyâs lives changed the moment she came into their lives. It wasnât like Rachel was planned. Not quite. Hiram and LeRoy had been toying around with the idea of having children but both of them didnât expect a child to be left at their doorstep one morning with a note that stated, âPlease take care of herâ. It was a shocking wake up call for the pair of them. After all, they were just âthinking about having kidsâ. They still kept the choice of not having children but as soon as Hiram soothed Rachelâs loud crying, the pair knew Rachel was a blessing in disguise.
Between Hiram and LeRoy, LeRoy was more of an authoritative parent. He would put Rachel into plenty of time-outs, give her a disciplinary pat on the behind, or ground her if needed be. Rachel wasnât an easy child to have, either. Energetic, curious, and loud, there were many days were Rachel spent her time facing the wall and whimpering for misbehaving. Hiram, on the other hand, were the more of the comforting parent, sometimes going to the extent of spoiling her. He allowed her to spread her creativity through playing, which opened up an avenue for the girl, singing. From then on, she was signed to plenty of classes for singing, acting, and dancing; anything the Berry men knew Rachel would excel at. It helped to ease their working schedules too, often leaving Rachel to her lessons while they both worked their long hours.
What followed Rachelâs lessons were plenty of dance recitals, singing competition, and school plays, where Rachel was often received praises for her talents and winning every competition she signed herself for. It was as amazing as she imagined performing would be, the standing ovation, the cheers, the flowers, and the ever-proud smiles on her fathersâ faces. Rachel knew, then, what she wanted to do in the future. She wanted this exhilarating feeling all the time and so, she kept up with her lessons, and explored the performing arts field, finally realizing Broadway was the place she knew she wanted to land. Her spare time from her lessons and school were devoted to combing through musicals, finding inspiration from Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, and many others. Despite her carefully structured plan of becoming a star in Broadway at 25 with a dashing partner at her side, Rachel ensured she kept up with her education too. As much as she loved performing, her fathers made sure she knew the value of having a good education so much so that she was amongst the students in her high school that were in the running for valedictorian when she graduated. However, what topped that slight disappointment, Rachel had her name attached to at least two National Championship trophies for show choir; having joined a Glee club where she could expose her talent to potential scouts. She was always looking out for her future, for that tangible truth of her dreams becoming into reality. There was nothing she wasnât going to do to get there.

We suggest that in these first interactions you at least talk about how your character got stranded on the island. Remember to think about your characterâs life and how they would logically wind up on the island. Donât be afraid to post an open para for people to reply to, as thatâs exactly the spirit of the roleplay!
