Glitchcreep Collaboration with Kaiza Mixed Media facebook.com/glenbawanart instagram.com/glenbawan
This is my part for the art collaboration with Kaiza. The outline of the rabbit's head was originally drawn by him, then I redrew it, giving life (or should I say death) and creepiness to the image. Also, this is not a template for collaboration with other artists. This is only a teaser for the piece we created. facebook.com/glenbawanart instagram.com/glenbawan

Everyone has their own precious gem. The one we protect and cherish the most. This thing, you don't let anyone to put even a small scratch on it because all the gods know what you can do to the culprit. But there will always be someone who wants to break yours. Their reason is they don't find any aesthetic appeal to all of their senses. An exact opposite of what you think. For you, it's like the softest silk your hands have ever touched, the most fragrant flower your nose has ever smelled, the perfect melody to your ears. So you are proud of it. Very proud of it. You show it to your neighbors, believing that it is more gorgeous than theirs. A sky-high feeling of superiority. Then you will hear the gossip. From the next town, there is this gem. More shiny. More popular. Loved and admired by all of them. So you will have an envious feeling towards its popularity. The bitterness starts to build. You want to break that thing. Your reason: you don't find any aesthetic appeal to all of your senses. That's what you believe, like the ones who want to break your precious item. Also an exact opposite of what all of those neighbors think. The more shiny and more popular thing they love and admire. Seems familiar, isn't it? But you don't recognize that you're just a carbon copy of your enemies, playing the role of victim as you victimize others. Same faces. Both of you have different gems in your pockets but you hold the same dagger. The dagger of hatred. The one you dodge and also the one you thrust. A cycle of self-blindness. —GB 'True Reflection' Ink on Paper, 7"x10" November 2017 facebook.com/glenbawanart glenbawan.tumblr.com glenbawan.deviantart.com
It's morning and you wake up from your peaceful sleep last night. As soon as you open your eyes, you see the thing you thought was already gone, right there at the ceiling staring at your poor soul. 'Why is it there?' you ask yourself because what you know is that your savior already saved you from it. So you close your eyes, thinking of sleep as your pathetic escape but your mind is wide awake. That thing is still staring at you. You can see it. But in your head, there's another thing that haunts you as much as that thing does. 'What if my savior can't save me from it anymore?' Today, you are living your life like it was before, the life you never wished to happen again. You already lost your self, and now, you are losing something again—your hope.
