Nothing, just wanted to introduce and yapping about my rarepair
Haii, after a long time hiat, i decided want to introduce my rarepair (and show off my work here for the first time)
Uh, where do we start? So, this is Clondle! Clondle is an abbreviation of "Cloud" and "Candle". Cloud represents Nevin, and Candle represents Alvin! Why Alvin get represents by candle? This is actually personal, but i saw him as a candle from afar (my eyes were blurry), and his color palette is also similar to a candle!
Ohya, lets talk my headcanon about them! Uh… so start with their name. Nevin past/real name was Shirokane Ran—白金 蘭— Shirokane was a place in Japan that take a part of the Minato district which is known for being friendly and kind to outside visitors, and the name Ran means "orchid" (both in Japanese and Traditional Chinese), or destruction—乱. And for Alvin, his past/real name was Yashio Rei—八潮 レイ—Yashio means eight tide, and the name Rei means "beautiful", also, Rei can be means "zero"
Aside from the name, lets dive into their personality (and other)!
Nevin has the pronouns she/he/cloud and is strongly associated with social pleasure, savior complex, and naivety! I see Nevin as someone who is very eager to please others, always trying to be the "savior", even though his naive nature often makes him easy to take advantage of. Nevin is the bright, fluffy, and somewhat chaotic "Cloud" in this ship.
Meanwhile, Alvin has he/them pronouns and… a much darker characterization? Asphyxiophilia, negative desensitization, and alexithymia. That's a lot, i know, Alvin has great difficulty recognizing and expressing his emotions (alexithymia) and has a tendency to numb his feelings—negative desensitization. In contrast to Nevin, Alvin is the quiet, flickering, and potentially dangerous "Candle", lol.
The ultimate statement! Why is this rare pair worth it?
Clondle is a ship that relies on dangerous but complementary contrasts, in short, Clondle is a fucking tragedy waiting to happen, and i love them for it! Hehe.
