farewell, wildstar

in light of the news today about Carbine closing, i felt compelled to login to my old blog and say... something, idk. Wildstar was the first MMO that helped me connect with a community of like-minded, wonderful, and creative people. it was the first MMO to truly and thoroughly draw me in with its wonderful characters, atmosphere, and story. it was the first MMO that let me play a robot!!!

i digress, but what i'm trying to say is i am so sorry to see this great game go. i have so many memories spent playing this game and have made some pretty amazing friendships along the way. while i may not be the best at keeping up with these friendships, i still treasure them dearly. the fact that i’m even in contact with many of these great folks is because of this game!

even though i haven't played Wildstar in... a very long time, it saddens me to see it go nevertheless. i will miss you, @wildstaronline. thank you for the incredible experiences you provided and for your dedication to a delightful game that will be shut down too soon.

this post is just to let you know that i am moving tumblr accounts. i have not played a mmo in a long while and have honestly not enjoyed playing one in, well, forever. while i have enjoyed all of your lovely characters and your talented art and writing, it’s just not been fun for me to keep this blog going anymore.

i will be posting from a new blog and will leave this tumblr as is. if you want to follow me at my new blog, please feel free! i will not be posting/reblogging most mmo content anymore and will instead focus on other games that i love, OCs, roleplaying, and art.

i know i’ve been terrible at talking with my friends and mutuals on here and for that i am sorry. i truly enjoyed the time we spent playing in-game and RPing together and i hope that you can forgive me for not keeping up with you. i would love to be able to chat/hang out/roleplay with you if you would still like to!

thank you all for your continued support of me and my silly little mmo blog. i hope this year treats you well and perhaps we’ll see each other again! ❤❤❤
