Blog Info:

simple doodle askblog. There's backstories and some plot and arcs that'll happen but nothing too serious. I'll also just post general art of the character(s) here sometimes. Do not expect any specific consistent standard of art this is for funsies and thus will vary wildly.

This blog is undergoing a bit of a "soft reboot" from its 2020 posts. Those previous posts can be considered canon unless newer posts contradict information stated in them; Feel free to ask things already discussed in the 2020 posts if you'd like!

While I plan for this blog to mostly be lighthearted and positive, due to the medical nature of this blog, there sometimes might be blood or injures drawn, as well as medical operations or discussion. These things will be tagged. Blood will not be put under a cut, but IF anything that could be considered gorey (visuals of broken bones, guts, surgical operations, etc) is drawn, it will be placed under a cut in addition to being tagged. I do not currently plan to include any visuals more intense than just blood and surface wounds, but if there ever is, that is how it will be handled. There will also sometimes be discussion of death due to Eleos's profession and past. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, feel free to ask.

"Well, however, there's one Trainer who is more closer to me than them. Juliana, Bellie's Trainer and bestie. They both live together, even after the events."

"Oh, hello there! It's nice to meet another nurse!" she friendly waves at her, looking at surroundings. "Ok, kinda remind me of my work too, yes yes...

I was aware that human nurses used to work here at the Pokémon Centers before turning into PokéHospitals. But can you tell me about one who used to work here? Do you know her personally?"

"Oh, but listen to me ramble!" Eleos laughs softly. "You said you were a nurse too, dear? What's your center like? Got any coworkers? It sounds like you don't have a Nurse Joy working with you, do you sweetheart?"

[in in-box] -> about how she's been doing on her own? -> how long has Eleos been on her own? -> about her work [current or past]? what exactly is the work she's doing here? What does she do other than medical work? -> also feel free to have characters ask her about any medical things they themselves might be dealing with, or whatever's on their mind. obvious disclaimer that I cannot give real medical advice, nothing Eleos says is sound medical advice for REAL HUMAN PEOPLE, go to an actual doctor.

It does get quiet from time to time, but I know I’ll always have another visitor like you pop in eventually. As long as I’m able to help, I can deal with the occasional ache of loneliness. For the good of the people and pokemon here.

Some people just need a good cry every now and then, some people need to hit and break things, but ‘Time heals all wounds’ is a saying for a reason, poppet. I suppose that’s not exactly the medical answer you were looking for though, is it?

Though it is entirely useless without a keystone- little more than a pretty rock. It simply holds sentimental value to me, that is all. I’m not sure my body could handle the process anymore anyway.

“O-oh! I spoke too much!” The hattrem seems a bit embarrassed. “But, ah, my dad’s not from here originally either. He came from Unova. It makes me happy to see another audino, my dad’s really important to me. I’m sorry if I came off as a little overzealous…” She attempts to recollect herself. “So, you, like, are out here helping other pokemon? I think that’s just amazing!”

Anterograde Amnesia is normally induced by drug or alcohol abuse and typically results in short ‘blackout’ periods you won’t ever be able to remember properly since the brain doesn’t record the information correctly, So I’m assuming you’re suffering from Retrograde, where your pre-existing long term memories are unable to be accessed. In that case? All you can really do is wait. If you don’t begin to remember things over the course of several weeks to a month, I’d seek out a neurologist to see what will work, and that itself varies a lot- from psychotherapy to hypnosis. There simply isn’t a one-stop fix for amnesia. 

As for what you can do now? You said you believe the memory loss is from a head injury, yes? Assess the damage. Right now, any physical damage received is the priority. Your body needs to recover before your mind will have a chance to.

And that’s about all i can say, with the information given to me. I wish there was more help i could offer but this really isn’t my specialty. And on that note, everything I've said should be taken with a ‘grain of salt’ as they say, as it isn’t my field of study. If nothing else, I can offer you someone to talk to. Stress itself effects memory, so stressing over memories can’t be helping you.

If, for whatever reason, you need a human nurse though, there’s a town not too far- Ballonlea. I can offer you directions if you’d like- I’d love to show you there myself, Glimwood can be a nightmare to navigate, but I must stay in case someone comes in needing aid.
