The world's quietest place on Earth is in Minnesota (surprised?); and it can make you hallucinate. At Orfield labs, there is an anechoic chamber which is designed to stop reflecting sound and electromagnetic waves.
When your ears adapt to the silence, you begin to become the sound; you hear your heart beat, your organs working. The experience is so disorienting that sitting down is required. Volunteers have often hallucinated, and the longest anyone has ever stayed in that room is 45 minutes.
This is actually used by companies around America, one of which being NASA. The chamber is used to train astronauts and see how they will cope in that situation. Companies also use it to test out the sounds of certain products.
All I know is I am going to try this out if I ever find myself in Indianapolis.

J.K Rowling has thrown down to build her kids a magical treehouse. The Rowlings are living the dream, getting a piece of Hogwarts in their backyard.
(Taken with my phone).
Many believe that space exploration is superfluous and a waste of money , but some of the century's most innovative inventions were a result of NASA. Memory foam, water filters and even insoles (they were used for their moon boots, which was also a trend for awhile). Check out some interesting cosmetic innovations that came from studying the cosmos.
Nearby in our cosmic neighborhood, only 33 light years away, planets have found one of the smallest exoplanets yet. It's said to be extremely hot and likely covered in magma. Unless we can update our arwings, it certainly won't be one of our first exo-planetary visits.
I want this portal Lego set so bad!
Staying fit with Skyim
You realize how lengthy the loading screens are when you do 10 pushups during them. Hell, you could probably bust out 20. And that thick Markarth fog will keep you cool.

I concocted the most spectacular juice the other day.
1. Fill a cup with water
2. Add desired frozen fruit
3. Add some sugar (or don't and be hardcore about it)
4. Let sit for more flavor (anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour is good)
5. A little vodka never hurt if you so choose
It's insanely refreshing and not jam-packed with sugar the way most store-bought juices are. Certainly one of my new favorite summer treats! [this photo is a legitimate representation of the goods]
I know that avocados have apparently become the 'trendy to-do' this summer, but I fuckin' love avocados and always have. Therefore I am always seeking new creative recipes to try!
This Avocado breakfast Pizza looks simply bomb though.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup avocado, mashed 1/2 lime, juice salt and pepper to taste 1 pita, lightly toasted 1 egg, fried 1 strip bacon, cut into 1 inch sliced, fried and draind (optional) 1 tablespoon queso fresco, crumbled (optional)
How to make this tasty deliciousness:
1. Mix the avocado, lime juice, salt and pepper; and fry the egg
2. spread it on the toasted pita and top with fried egg and other toppings.
5. cook that shit for 5 minutes or until tantalizingly toasty
6. EAT IT

LOL Literally just did this with my lunch today.
I went to Niagara Falls a couple summers ago and they do this every night. :) the view is stunning.

Graphic Designer, Twan van Keulen made typography inspired (and composed) by fallen leaves. I would Love to work with this as an actual font!
Today we drove to VT and sat on a rock. The view was spectacular, the water was wonderful.
