it really sux that success is now synonymous with constant networking and building your personal image. what happens to the weird looking people and shy people? what if you’re both? is this how i ended up in a weird ditch? i wish success were just about how good you are at what you do and i wish i didn’t feel like i’m punishing myself socially for not going out to events and galleries and shows.
