Keep your eyes peeled for Kat Von D's new setting powders in array of different colors as well as her new Lock It Setting Spray! I'm so interested to see if it's a completely new formula or if it's just the lock n load spray in updated packaging! Should be seeing them trickle into Sephora's around the end of January.

New year, new makeup/skin products!

I know I’ve been MIA for a few months, but I’m back in full effect and excited to review and talk about all of the things that this year has to offer.

Too Faced just announced their newest palette on Instagram this morning! Introducing Chocolate Bon Bon! I absolutely love the pink packaging and how cute are the heart shadows?! If you are a collector of cute things, or if you want to add this palette to your collection it is out December 9th on Too Faced's website!

Alas, I've been currently hooked on American Horror Story: Hotel and especially Lady Gaga's makeup looks in the show! The whole dramatic wing eyeliner and berry lips just give me so much inspiration for the fall time months and I especially like the way it's smudgy and not perfect at all.

I've always been intrigued by glossy lids and this newest product by NYX has inspired me to go ahead and try a bold fun look for fall!

NYX Lid Lacquer gives eyes that glistening effect (while hopefully not proving to be too messy) at $7 a tube, you can either opt for an oil slick black or an iridescent clear.

I'm willing to try it out! Available at Ulta.

I don't usually like to get too personal on this blog because I do it for fun and I enjoy writing and taking pictures, but I just wanted to say thank you to all for sticking around and reading what I have to say. Never give up on a hobby if it's what you love to do. If you've been turned down a couple of times don't give up, because you never know what might be around the corner! I look at makeup as a form of self expression and it lets my true passion for art spew out in ways I can't describe. If you believe in yourself, and believe that you are good at something it doesn't matter what other people think as long as you are happy!
