Several things

2- I started a youtube channel as a tf2/artist poster so yay new things

3- IF ANYONE IS GOING TO NERDACON IN NOVEMBER AND HAS ROOM FOR ME TO STAY FRIDAY NIGHT PLEASE CONTACT ME D: It’s a 130 mile drive 1 way for me and I want to go both days but I can’t sleep in my car so having a room would be nice so I don’t have to wake up at 6am so I can get there in time for the con Saturday morning. I’ll gladly give some money to stay the night as well and I have a small car (2012 Scion IQ) so I won’t need a ride there or home. Also hey if you live in Hiram/Marietta/Kennesaw I can pick you up so you won’t have to drive so bonus points??? 

4- I’ll be cosplaying Kigurumi Engineer at least one day, I might do it for both if I don’t have the normal outfit ready by then. I’ll have a Gunslinger made and a Teddy Roosebelt and POSSIBLY a full scale MiniSentry to drag around.

I know everyone is like “OMG RAINBOW QUARTZ IS ALMOST A PERFECT FUSION!!” but you know who else was an almost perfect fusion?

Arguably, Opal was more of a stable fusion, because Opal was formed for the pure cause of saving Steven, and Rainbow Quartz was formed for Pearl’s selfish cause of wanting to make Greg jealous.

My headcanon is that if a gem fusion has multiple eyes, it means that their components are of a divided mind and cannot agree on things. The more eyes a gem has, the less they can agree. Garnet only has 3 because Ruby and Sapphire agree on most things, but are sometimes divided on things (Keeping it Together). Fusions like Malachite and Rainbow Quartz have four eyes because their intentions are 100% different. Malachite was formed when Jasper wanted to take control but Lapis refused and overthrew Jasper. Rainbow Quartz was formed when Rose wanted to impress her plaything, but Pearl simply wanted to make him jealous.

This leaves the topic of arms. I personally think that the more arms a fusion has, the less close their components are. Malachite is nothing but arms because Lapis and Jasper loathe each other. Alexandrite has so many arms just because there is no way that all 4 gems can have a mutual understanding and be that close to one another, especially since Ruby and Sapphire haven’t really bonded w/ Pearl and Amethyst separately in quite some time. And fusions like Sugilite and Opal have four arms presumably because Amethyst has a hard time reaching out to both Pearl and Garnet. She feels isolated, not as close to either of them as she would like, so the extra arms are formed as a symbol of that. Fusions like Garnet and Stevonnie are so close to one another that there are no extra arms. They have a mutual understanding, and are very close, so there’s no need for the extra arms.

That’s just how I see it, anyway.

What’s great is how they demonstrate it in her visually. Her old outfit has her in tall boots, a long dress, and a hat. It’s so covering that it gives a sense of her being closed off. Especially her postures in standing such as to take up as little space as possible - holding her book to her chest like a shield.

But now she’s more confident. She can let her book by her side. Her outfit it way more open - sneakers, shorts, uncovered hair, an open collar. She’s standing with her legs apart and has no qualms holding a bigarse sword that’s basically the size of herself. She’s allowing herself to take up more space because she doesn’t feel as in the way or estranged from the people of the city. Instead of being surprised at the car going around the corner, she’s overflowing with excitement that she never felt in her life before getting involved with the gems. She’s ready for adventure. Ready to keep growing.

you may remember that what pumpkin announced that the game studio “the odd gentlemen” was originally attached to develop the game, and you may also remember that they quietly moved to in house development in 2014. what they didn’t tell you: the reason they did this was that odd gentlemen stole kickstarter money and spent it on king’s quest.

4th of July is the Independence Day of the United States of America. Pretty big holiday. You probably already notice this. Let me make something clear.

I don’t want to hear shit about how terrible America is from 12:00 AM July 4th 2015 — 11:59 PM July 4th 2015. NOTHING. Period.

As a multiracial (but mostly Black/Seminole/Polish) gay man with Jewish heritage, I am quite informed about the conditions of my country, and I don’t need a fucking reminder on most days, but especially not this day. You can save your “Just a reminder that this country was built on the slave trade (:” posts and anything to do with Christopher Columbus’s fuckass or how awful Jefferson and Washington really were. Seriously. I don’t want to see it.

I spend 364 days a year critiquing my own country and fighting for positive change, give me my one day to eat some goddamn apple pie and light things on fire.
