Altis Belém Hotel & Spa - Lisbon | Business Photographer | Photo YourSpace

There's A Boat In My Room! Belém was the place Portuguese navigators set out from to discover the world in the 15th and 16th centuries. This magical Lisbon neighbourhood located on the river Tejo is rich with symbols and imposing monuments celebrating the Great Maritime Discoveries, attracting tourists and locals alike for long walks along the river bank and chilling in one of its many restaurants and bars. And then you have the beautiful 5-star Altis Belém Hotel, designed in harmony with the axis between the Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, watching over the entrance to the Port of Lisbon and the famous bridge, Ponte 25 de Abril. It has 50 rooms distributed by wings named after continents and decorated accordingly. So if you find yourself in a room with tastefully designed palm trees and toucans on the wall, that means you were assigned to the South American wing. The whole hotel offers unexpected perspectives and charming spaces, from a riverside upscale bar to a real library and a rooftop pool. Not to mention the breathtaking river views enjoyed from most rooms. You might wake up with a huge cruise ship passing your window really, really close. Put your gown on and go out to the balcony to say good morning to Queen Elizabeth II or Independence of the Seas!

86m Mega Yacht - Ecstasea in the Kiel Canal 2015 by www.GlynLowe.com Via Flickr: Ecstasea is a luxury yacht. The biggest Feadship built, in June 2009 she was sold by her original owner, the Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, to a philanthropist for $200 million. Many believe it was purchased by Sonja Zuckerman. Her mansion in Gables Estate was retrofitted with a large 150 ft dockage and pictures of the Ecstasea docking were seen with her and grandson Richard Rodriguez Mendez on board.
