Chill'n at the oncology with my chemo buddies
Friend of mine got me into the glyos-verse and he and I came up with the Wave 90 Mashup. Pretty awesome if you ask us. Complete with blaster arms and a poison dagger tail.
CAPTAIN RADDICKAL My GLYOS-compatible custom action figure build utilizing parts from the Knights of the Slice Raddick along with the metallic blue Neo Granthan Gendrone Imperium Mimic Armorvor, Toyfinity’s Robo Force Gendrone Imperium Force Defender, the 481 Universe Betaforce 6 Enforcer and other assorted pieces. Thanks for looking. - Alexis Dyer
Luke Skywalker; X-Wing Pilot
I like to use non-Glyos parts sometimes in my builds. I came across a broken Star Wars X-Wing Transformer in the garage. There was no fixing it - the plastic was brittle and beyond repair. The robotic pilot head was interesting, and with a little Dremel work, Glyos-compatable.
Love the clear colors!
Some assembly required
GRIMPOOL My customized Glyos-compatible build of the Callgrim Deadpool homage figure with Swing Joints and Axis Joints with the Ubiquitous action figure diorama display made by Nova Revol. Thanks for looking. - Alexis Dyer
"KID RONNIE MAC … and his Mickey D's Minions" My custom painted Ronald McDonald homage action figure. The head, gloves and shoes come from the Just Toys/Mega Merge # 13 Glyos-compatible Izuku Midoriya a.k.a. Deku action figure. The torso and upper arms come from the Just Toys/Mega Merge # 15 Shoto Todoroki action figure. The jacket comes from Mattel DC Comics Multiverse Batman Arkham City 4" Thomas Elliot "Hush" action figure. The forearms are Onell Design Glyan arm pieces. The Cheeseburger/French Fries heads come from Spy Monkey Creations and their bodies from The Outer Space Men's Alpha 7 action figures. Thanks for looking! - Alexis Dyer
CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS GREEN?!?
This is the translucent green from Wave 86. It absolutely glows in direct sunlight. I took this picture the same morning I did the Samus & stealth Samus picture. The light was good, so I hurried up and built this quickly . . . and man, was I impressed with the result. Not that I'm any sort of photographer. This was just a happy coincidence.
So I was scrolling through some of the older posts, going back a couple of years, when I found some cool phase arm builds. I think everybody has probably built a Samus figure at some point. It's been a while, so I had some new pieces to work with. I like the cartoony proportions of this one. I tried a 'stealth mode' Samus as well.
I got lucky with the ice crystals on the deck this morning. Great alien landscape.
Inspired by Disney+ The Mandalorian comes my second version of Boba Fett. I took the helmet from my parts bin, as well as some belts from GI Joe 25th anniversary figures. With all of the colors available, there's a million different combinations of Mandalorian battle armor you could build.
KIRALLIUS KOMMANDO
Standing 5.5. inches tall and built with 87 pieces from Onell Design’s GLYOS Wave 86 assortment. Thanks for looking! -Alexis Dyer
Toy Pizza’s Knights of the Slice action figures, Cyber Mama (CyMa Keeg Deluxe), Briton Knight and the female character “Logic” from IAmElemental’s Series 2 assortment. Thanks for looking. - Alexis Dyer
This build started with the new piranha head design. I wanted to make a body that matched the deep-sea warrior vibe of the head - like a henchman that Black Manta would employ. I could definitely see this guy giving Aquaman trouble. You can't tell, but there's a axis joint half at the waist, causing him to lean forward menacingly. The leg design was new to me, although I have seen other people do this. I love that this one new piece caused me to go in a totally new direction.
This figure borrows a little from GI Joe's Atomic Man with his clear bionic arm, and from Mego's Micronauts, with his repurposed vintage head.
I took the head from a busted-up, in-no-way-salvagable Micronaut figure. I hate to see people destroy old vintage figures for the sake of a custom. But Space Glider lives on in new colorful Glyos form. So, reuse and recycle, people!
