And just like that, Soyou was off of her couch and putting on her sneakers. The things she does for that brat. The brunette was hopping around her apartment, trying to put on the other pair of her footwear. If he so even ruffle her hair she was going to put the boy in a headlock.

Locking up her apartment as she made her way to the fountain which was noticeably closer to the school dorms, Soyou stuffs her hands in the pocket of her leather jacket as she tried to warm herself up. Although her apartment was close to the university, it still took the faculty member approximately 40-45 minutes to get to their meeting point.

Maybe she should’ve taken the bus instead of walking? Oh well. She could only hope AJ was as late as she was.

Jaeseop read the following messages with a smile. She knew how to convince him of going out on lazy days, he really liked playing sports. Baseball wasn't between his favorites though, but just having a girl friend that would call for a match was amazing, one of the reasons that he truly liked her.

But Jaeseop was still Jaeseop, so he left his cellphone by his side for a while and waited the episode of whatever he was watching to finish first. It wasn't more than 10 minutes and he could put on his sneakers and leave his room. He got to the meet place, rolling his eyes when he had no view of the girl.

Then he put the cellphone back in the pocket just in time to see Soyou's figure a bit far, and smiling with one corner of his lips. "Ya! I'm waiting for days!"

The sudden vibration of her phone alerts Soyou of text messages she’d received. Rolling her eyes at AJ- because his reply was just so… him- the brunette thinks back on all the trouble they’d gone through when they were younger.

Even though Soyou was pretty tall now, she’d only had her sudden growth spurt when she was in her early twenties for some weird reason, so in result, she was pretty short when she was in grade school and high school.

Although despite her tall height for girls, she was still unquestionably shorter than AJ. The boy was pretty much a pole.

AJ is impatient, brass, a perfectionist and is almost always angry. But since Soyou grew up with the younger boy, she had always taken his sarcastic remarks and insults in stride.

Truth was that Soyou was one of the only people that Jaeseop wasn't truly sarcastic. He was, for fun, but not really intending to be mean to her as he usually was with pretty much everyone else.

He didn't even look younger than her, since he wasn't afraid of teasing her whenever he wanted and he was talled than her as well. They were probably the only girl and boy friends that people never mistook as a couple. Those cases are usually like that because both of them grew up together, were too close and intimate and etc, but it never happened to them.

There were only a handful of people Soyou was close with inside the university. A few hand-picked students and no one from the faculty. She really should start interacting with other people more, she just wasn’t particularly skilled in first meetings. Awkwardness always seemed to follow her wherever she went.

Flopping down onto the couch inside her apartment a few blocks away from the university, Soyou looks through her contact list in hopes that she could spend today with someone. She just wasn’t in the mood to spend the whole day, her day off of all things, alone.

Perking up when she sees a name she hadn’t texted or spoken to for weeks, Soyou smiles and lets her fingers do the talking.

She and AJ were friends back in high school. Their houses were close to one another (hers was just in front of Jaeseop’s) and they tended to travel together towards their school. The younger boy might’ve been a pain in the ass for Soyou sometimes, but he did have his good points.

Jaeseop could actually count in one hand how many people he actually could call as friend — even if he counted Kevin and their conturbed realtionship, it would still be one hand only — and Soyou was one of his closest friends. He wasn't sure of why he liked her at all, but her presence was just interesting and delightful to Jaeseop.

Fortunately, they build a friendship that didn't need constant contact to work fine. He didn't like to keep in touch constantly with people, and since Soyou understood that, sometimes they just didn't talk to each other, but the friendship was still there.

He heard the popping sound in the middle of the song, seeing a new message in his phone. And another, and other. He had a perfect guess that who would be.

Falling For You Again || AJ and Kevin ||

After Kevin had kissed Jaeseop in almost drama like fashion, it was allblank. The kiss lasted a few seconds, but Kevin wanted more. He blinked a bit in shock, while licking his lips, avoiding Jaeseop’s gaze before he felt the other grab his wrist and drag him out of the cafeteria. That was what he needed to tune into the world. He smirked, the other was in shock at his kiss and as he was dragged into the hallway close by to the cafeteria, Kevin grinned widely.

As the other scolded him on his kissing, Kevin was tempted to retort with sass, but found himself pressed against the wall, and Jaeseop kissing him. The shock of the deeper kiss didn’t give Kevin enough time to react, as the other pulled away from the kiss too fast. Listening to Jaeseop state that now they were even and he was asking for a rematch, Kevin grinned. “If you don’t like my kissing, then teach me how to kiss,” he said, sass lining his tone.

"After all, maybe, with proper teaching, I may be good~" he said, and deciding to avoid all drama kisses, Kevin pulled Jaeseop close by wrapping an arm around his neck and kissed the other again, deeply. He wasn’t about to lose their game. The kiss was a clash of lips and Kevin parted his lips slightly, lost in the feeling.

Everytime Kevin had that grin on his face, Jaeseop wanted to do something about it. He wasn't even sure of what. It could be just staring how beautifuly done his lips were, or answering the urge of kissing him once again and again. True was that, because of their little game, Jaeseop had stopped himself of kissing Kevin — and more — a bunch of times back in their old University, and the time without having to look at Kevin resulted in a bit of frustration during some mornings, when Jaeseop remembered that Kevin was the boy that he wanted and couldn't get. But now they were in the same place again, facing each other, both willing to make the so desired moment happen.

Kevin was wrong. Jaeseop felt in love with his kisses. He might not be in love with Kevin himself, but he knew that with the kisses he was. He wouldn't say that loud, and he wouldn't have the opportunity as well, once Kevin's lips were again touching his.

There were no space between their bodies anymore, and this could be bad for Jaeseop, who was having a bad time to handle the situation. With any other boy, it would be easy to end it, but the reason why he felt so lost with Kevin... he didn't know. So he gave up for a minute and bit the shorter one's lips, making the kiss deeper while his hands were holding Kevin tight in the waist, kind of as a reminder that they were in a public place and his hands shouldn't go anywhere. He even stopped the kiss for a second, looking like he was about to say something, but he gave up, letting one of his hands slide up to the other's body and return the kiss.

What a smart ass, thought Jaejoong. The kid had guts though, talking back to him the way he did. He wasn’t mad, though he probably should be, because now he has to take time out of his own time to clean up the mess his student made, and possibly take him down to the nurses office, depending on how bad the burns actually were.

"Very funny." He rolls his eyes, and if he could, he would have given him a slap on the hand, but he can’t, so he didn’t. "There’s a cafeteria in the school for a reason. Or you know, in the commons area in the dorms." He wasn’t mad, no, just annoyed.

Jaejoong sighs and shakes his head as he inspects the burns. He doesn’t think they’re that bad, which is good, so he won’t have to be taking him down to the nurse any time soon. “Well, depends.” He says. “Do you think you should be in trouble?”

Jaeseop really appreciated the fact that the supervisor was such a handsome guy. Like not in normal handsome, he was beyond the reality handsome. Even though it was hard to see himself envolved with a professor — and it was probably forbidden — with the Cooking Club supervisor he would spend a good time daydreaming about it.

"The food in the cafeteria sucks..." He mumbled, letting the other take care of the burn. He did want to eat healthy food once in a while, other than the same-same dishes they had in the cafeteria, or he wouldn't be attending the cooking club, because Jaeseop is lazy as fuck.

He scoffed listening to the other, "Aren't you the supervisor? I think I already had a punishment though..." Looking to his own hands. "But if you think I deserve more, just be nice."

Everything was set and nicely done. Jaeseop wasn't the most romantic or detailed person in the world, he was kind of lazy for that, but in fact he didn't make effort for that. In the end, he was pretty romantic with simple actions.

He sent a message for Kevin, saying where they should meet. It was kind of a dating anniversary — not that Jaeseop was counting the days, it just happened that he knew that the date was around the coner. Even the place was nothing more than a coffee shop near the University. The table was already set with two capuccinos and two pieces of strawberry pies. He wasn't sure why, but strawberries remembered him of Kevin.

Jaeseop sat on one of the chairs, waiting the other one. When he saw Kevin entering the place, he just took his guitar, that was resting near him, and started playing while the other was approaching. He didn't want to start eating and proposing at the end as everyone else, not because he wanted to be different, but because he didn't see any sense in eating together if his answer was "No."

The sound of the guitar's strings filled up the place, Jaeseop tried not to look to Kevin, even though he was curious to see his reaction, and he rapped over the sound of his guitar, contrasting the sweet melody with his rusky voice.

Falling For You Again || AJ and Kevin ||

Kevin laughed a bit more. He found Jaeseop an absolutely fascinating person to date. If he himself wasn’t  so prideful and so against admitting defeat in this war, he may just submit to Jaeseop. But he had too much pride. Despite the fact that he was still suffering from a broken heart, the fact that Jaeseop was there and basically attempting still to get him made the pain go away for a bit. He bit his lips as he watched Jaeseop.

"Hard to imagine, Jaeseop?" he asked, turning on the sassy charm. At the party a couple months ago, Kevin was almost ready to give in and let Jaeseop have his way with him, but something pulled him back.Maybe because at the time, back then, he had a boyfriend. However, now that he was single, he was ready to say goodbye to his past and take on the future. After all, Jaeseop could practically drag him away and ravish him and he wouldn’t have a problem with that.

"Even though I’m annoying, you still like it~" he said, leaning forward, as Jaeseop traced his lower lip with a smile. He smiled a bit as Jaeseop stated that he can’t fix his broken heart. "My broken heart can fix itself. Should I forfeit our game? I’ll be asking for a rematch anyway…" he said, moving over to where Jaeseop was sitting and leaning forward.

Then it happened. Kevin pressed his lips to Jaeseop’s, effectively ending their game.

Kevin was right. Jaeseop liked that he was annoying. He wasn't boring, he was much more interesting than all the other boys Jaeseop met. Because he was annoying, Jaeseop wanted to pin him up and feel him fighting to be free under his body. If he wasn't, Jaeseop would lose interest — after getting him to bed anyway, since he was still a boy and it was bascially what it was needed for Jaeseop.

Then being annoying wasn't the only thing about Kevin. Jaeseop hold his breath for one second, feeling the touch of those pink lips over his, completely surprised. Kevin was also unpredictable. How many seconds have passed? Jaeseop didn't know why he wasn't able to react quickly. Maybe it had passed less than two seconds, but time wasn't the same during this kiss.

Before one more second passed, Jaeseop moved his head back, breaking the kiss, staring Kevin in the eyes. He got up from his chair, gently pushing Kevin to stand properly together, eyes never leaving the other's. He took Kevin by his wrist and left the cafeteria. He wasn't sure of what he was going to do, but being surprised by a kiss wasn't a position that he liked to be. Even more when the kisser was Kevin. It was wrong. Jaeseop should be the one to surprise Kevin, to make him speechless and make time pass slowly.

They got to this hallway close to the cafeteria. Jaeseop stopped in front of Kevin, still grabbing his wrist. "What was that?", he scoffed. "I expected so much from our game, and you decided to end it with this girly drama kiss?" He pushed Kevin against the wall, as gently as he could, but making no space between their bodies. Then Jaeseop kissed the blonde one more intensely than the previous kiss, holding his head while his thumb caressed Kevin's white face, but it didn't last long and Jaeseop once more rubbed his thumb over the other's lower lip. He didn't want to stop it though, but making a point was more important right now. If he was strong and able to hold his impulses, in the end the victory would taste better.

"Now we are even. I am the one asking for a rematch, so don't disapoint me with those kisses again if you are going to lose."

Despite being upset that someone had come into the kitchen without his supervision, Jaejoong was more worried about the student’s well being than he was about the condition of the room. Cleanup could happen later, because right now he had to make sure his student was well enough to not need emergency care. 

"Yeah, just maybe." He snorts, trying not to laugh at his misfortune, no matter how funny this actually was. He was hurt, and burns inside a kitchen were no laughing matter. "What were you thinking, coming into the kitchen at this hour, and on your own?" He questions, happy that the boy knew to keep his hand under the cold water.

Jaejoong moves to find the first aid kit and comes back with some burn cream. “Dry it off and let me see it.” He says firmly, and waits for the other to comply. He would scold him later once he knew for sure that he was alright.

He was waiting the scold, and the fact that it wasn't as bad as he thought at first, maybe it was because the worst would come later. Jaeseop might be expelled from the Cooking Club, or at least suspended for some weeks, and he might have to do some extra work cleaning the kitchen after the classes as well. Lucky Jaeseop, things always working out for him.

"Well... As far as I know, people use to cook when they are hungry." He answered without breaks. If he was going to suffer the consequences of using the kitchen anyway, what's the problem with answering back the supervisor.

Jaeseop dried his hands feeling a bit of pain when he pressed them against his t-shirt. Playing the piano would be difficult during some days. At least his major studies weren't with any instruments but his voice. "So... Am I in trouble?"

Roommate Agreement || AJ and Myungsoo ||

Myungsoo stared at his phone for a few moments so very bored before he tossed the phone to the side and grabbed his camera, to flip through the pictures on it. Maybe, he should go out and take more photos. He wanted to go to Jeju over the weekend so that he could take pictures, but he didn’t because going alone would be weird and his boyfriend was busy. Maybe he could ask a friend to go. Maybe Chanyeol wanted to go with him, but that would be weird. Krystal and him didn’t really get along that well…so she was out. Maybe he should just wait until his boyfriend was free and then go to Jeju with him.

He was so lost in his thoughts, that he didn’t notice the door opening. He blinked and looked up. Well, a roommate. “Sup, dude~” he said, settting the camera away. He stood up and analyzed the other up and down. “I’m Myungsoo. Nice to meet you roomie~” he said.

All the way through the hallway was thinking about the roommate Jaeseop would get. Because he was easily annoyed by anything, it was important to have someone as quiet as... a glass of water. It didn't really matter to Jaeseop any person who would be around him, because he never care, but the roommate was someone who he would see everyday, and in order to don't explode for every little thing, he just wanted the guy to not be like him.

He opened the door of his new room, deeply wishing to be empty, but there it was his roommate. "Oh, he speaks," Jaeseop thought while sighing. "Hey." He entered the room and walked in direction to the empty bed, noticing the look that the guy gave to him, and a smirk grew on his face. His roommate was handsome. Sure, first thing to notice. At least, if he was going to expend the next months with that guy, he should be handsome.

"Yeah... Nice to meet you. But no 'roomie.' My name is Jaeseop."

Jaejoong wasn’t always the celebrated chef he likes to think he is. In fact, there was a time in his life when he merely ate at his… what the people who took care of him made. However, he had been in and out of so many homes that he couldn’t keep track of what was what any more, and decided that taking care of himself was better than letting strangers try from scratch every single time. He wasn’t perfect, and though he was left to himself most of the time, he managed.

Growing up, he learned the hard way that you couldn’t rely on anyone but yourself, especially when it came to dinner time. He never had any lessons in cooking, simply tossing what was in the pantry into a pan, hoping that it came out edible. He did this for years, and though he failed many times in the beginning, cooking comes to him naturally.

He’s forgotten something in the student kitchen earlier that day and had to wait until his classes were over before he could retrieve it. He only hopes that it’s still there, but then remembers that no one should be in there after hours, so it’s most likely under the counter.

There’s the sound of a pan hitting the floor upon reaching the door, and he frowns. Was there a student in there after hours, without supervision? Not that his students needed the supervision, but some of them weren’t as good at cooking as others were, and he only hoped that one of his students who knew how to cook was in there, otherwise he feared walking in on a fire.

He opens the door to see a pan laying on the ground, surrounded by chopped up potatoes. In any other situation, he would have been angry, but seeing a student with their obviously burnt hands under cold water, his instincts kicked in and he rushed over to him. “Are you alright?” He asks, glancing around him. There were no oven mitts laying around, which left Jaejoong to think he took the pan off bare handed. Yeah, that was going to leave a nice burn.

Jaeseop ignored everything on the floor and added water to his hand, resting under the falling water of the faucet. It didn't look that bad — it actually did, but Jaeseop was the kind of guy that wouldn't admit that it was that bad — and he could just wait for the next day; Yay, peeling skin!

The floor was a mess, and he should clean everything before anyone discovering that he was a total failure in cooking. Maybe some people from the cooking club already knew, but pretending that no was better than needing to deal directly with that situation. But for his surprise, he heard the door opening and from all the people of the University, the person would obviously be Jaejoong, the supervisor of Cooking Club. He was ready to be scolded, but he looked pretty worried at first.

"Ahm..." He tried anyway to think an excuse that he might be okay and etc, but there was no way out of that situation. "Maybe I need a recipe book." Jaeseop giggled, just wondering how screwed he was.

Hearing the familiar sass from infront of him, Kevin looked up, a smirk gracing his lips. As Jaeseop asked whether time made him boring since he was expecting sass instead of him running away, Kevin laughed. “Heartbreak will do that to a person~ But I suppose you’ve never expereinced that~” he said, sipping his cofee. If the other wanted sass, then sass he would get.

"Our war is still on~I have a desire to let you win, but being easy isn’t my thing~" he said, looking at Jaeseop. "After all, Jaeseop, isn’t more fun like this. Touchy, possesive, fiery?" he asked, leaning forward to run a teasing finger down Jaeseop’s arm. Kevin remembered then that he was heartbroken. "Ah~ right. I should be sad, since my boyfriend broke up with me…well he technically just up and left~" he said, pouting.

He knew exactly how to get under Jaeseop’s skin. Now, he would just play.

And then, the laugh. That same laugh that for their first meetings was totally annoying, but now he kind of wanted to hear — since talking was so teasing between them, the laugh kind of was the orgasm of the moment, when Jaeseop knew that he had went to the point. Oh, yeah. But the following sentence though, wasn't exactly what he wanted to hear. Sure, knowing that Kevin was free was perfect, but as well as knowing that Kevin was sad at that moment and Jaeseop couldn't know for how long he was sad exactly. Maybe if he was there at the right moment...

Kevin was still being the sassy blond boy that Jaeseop so wanted to take to bed and ravish completely. He observed the other's finger and mouth, and his mind was already taking him to places where Kevin was totally under his control. Jaeseop could, actually, do that without any effort. He could grab Kevin at any moment, take him to a cabin at the bathroom or even on his own bed, and do wathever. But he didn't want. Somehow, with Kevin should be different, he should win so he could enjoy the moment because he deserved it, because he tamed Kevin.

"Hard to imagine that someone rejected you. I mean... you're kind of annoying, but nothing that a muzzle can't fix." He rubbed his thumb on Kevin's lower lip, smiling. "I can't fix your broken heart, but if you're missing something else, just forget about our game and ask me for it."

It really was him and Kevin slid into the seat across from him. How this mirrored their second meeting at SNU. The studious bad boy and the fabulous diva. Mirrored their second meeting when Kevin had declared a war of feelings on the boy. He hated how the other seemed to react when their last meeting almost concluded in them sleeping together had Kevin not passed out. Kevin took a deep breath as he read the paper. “That hurts, Jaeseop. It really does,” he said. Kevin took a sip of his coffee.

"I was looking at you, but it’s obvious you want to be left alone, so I’ll do exactly that." he said, grabbing his coffee and getting up. Well there went his attempt at getting back into the college life after sitting in his room, crying and being depressed. He may as well just call his sister to take him home to San Francisco. He sighed. "I’ll just go. Don’t worry about me coming into your life and messing it up again," he said, looking at Jaeseop and walking away from his table.

Kevin moved tables, deciding to sit away from Jaeseop. He reached for his phone, finger on his sister’s phone number, deciding whether or not he should do it. He couldn’t and instead, Kevin slid the phone away and laid his head down, next to his coffee. Why was life so cruel to him.

Hearing his voice made Jaeseop's heart skip a beat. Or maybe two. He really missed it. Even though he would like more if Kevin was saying nasty things or challenging Jaeseop's will, anything but saying that he was hurt. However, he didn't say anything, just kept listening the blonde one. Yeah, it was better do be left alone. Why would Jaeseop be envolved with Kevin? He could have whoever he wanted, and he could easily find someone better than Kevin. So he just let him go as if it was nothing. 

And it was the scene he should see to change his mind. No, if he left that means that no one had won. In the end they were both losers, and on top of everything, Jaeseop hadn't have Kevin under his body moaning in pleasure. He felt his body warming up, and all the desire he had felt for Kevin was back. Maybe he wanted to have his life messed up, maybe he wanted to mess up Kevin's life - not to forget Kevin himself.

He got up, doing noise at the moment he sat in the table Kevin was. He didn't even wait him to look up, and started talking. "So... did time make you boring? I was expecting some usual reaction of your annoying tongue, but instead you ran like a scared puppy." He scoffed, hoping that it would awake Kevin's usual personality.

He missed it, he really did.

Even when AJ lived with his parents, it wasn't every day that he ate what his mom coocked, because of the unconfortable moment that dinner was. It was the time od the day where everyone would talk about their day and as Always Jaeseop's brother had done something amazing, scored some exam, helped some old lady to cross the street or got some prize inside Cheetos pack - because, yeah, everything he did is perfect. However, no one was interested on Jaeseop's day. Even though he had done some amazing stuff. At least, it should me amazing for his parents.

So he avoided dinner time, during luch at school he kept playing basketball and at night he would be in his room eating some snack while during his stuff. But living alone was diferent, it looked like everything he hadn't eat properly during his school days were popping up in college, because he could eat absolutely everything. What was good for someone who couldn't cook, but at some point of his life he decided to learn how to cook. He joined the Cooking Club and he was putting a lot of effort on it.

But because he concentrated better when alone, he decided to go to the club's kitchen after the meetings, and try to cook something by himself. He just took random foods and products, starting to cook and mix them by instict - how he would know if mayonnaise and potatoes were good together if he had never tried?

He started to cook a piece of beef, and just left it there in the pan while cutting the potatoes. The smell didn't seem right, and when he realized it was the beef burning, he ran to try to save it, obviously taking the pan without any protection and burning himself, letting the pan fall on floor. Then he turned around quickly to put water where it was burned, and his clumsy movement made the bowl with cutted potatoes fall.

Jaeseop was glad that no one could see the mess he was doing.

Falling For You Again || AJ and Kevin ||

He was lonely, heartbroken and desperate. The day that he had come from class to an empty dorm room was one of the most depressing moments. Kevin had really thought that Kiseop was the one but it seemed that life was playing an awfully cruel joke on him. He had spent the past few days just in his room, heartbroken and after a few days, he had decided that it was time to leave the room and actually go see what was happening around the university.

Kevin was lonely and having spent the majority of the week locked up in his room and being totally out of the college loop, Kevin needed to get himself back into it. So, Kevin grabbed a book and headed out to the cafeteria to just sit there, people-watch, eat and read. He hummed to himself as he walked inside and looked around. He flopped at table and looked around some more.

Taking a sip of his coffee, he noticed a familiar person. Why was he here? “Jaeseop…” he muttered, hoping that he hadn’t heard him.

Since Jaeseop decided giving up from his major at SNU, he was trying really hard to succeed in this new chapter of his life. Even looking like the bad boy type who wouldn't give a damn about school and etc, he actually was taking care of the opportunity of studying at GU as if it was his only chance in life. And kind of was.

But still, it was all about him and he didn't want to make annoying friends and go out with annoying classmates, letting everything behind was the best thing about quitting the other university, because now he wouldn't have anyone to distract him.

He was seated at the cafeteria, with his phones on, even though there was no music playing. Best way to avoid awkward welcome conversations. No one would bother someone who is deep focused on his music, and so far it was working for Jaeseop. Over the table; his notebook, full of random words that Jaeseop tried to connect and give some meaning, but that day they were just words and he couldn't transform them into music.

A deep breath made him lean back and take his eyes away from his notebook's page. And for one brief second the entire place was in silence. Maybe it was Jaeseop's ears selecting what they wanted to hear, but he couldn't hear anything but his own name, being pronounced by a familiar voice. He moved his head enough to have vision of Kevin. That Kevin. Right there, in front of him, and looking straight to Jaeseop. For how long was he there? Jaeseop had all the memories about Kevin playing in his mind, even though nothing ever happened between them.

He seemed to ignore though. Taking his pencil once again and writing on his notebook. It took less than ten seconds, and he directed the written page to Kevin, where the blond boy could read: "What are you looking at?"
