i made this to kinda calm myself down one time (it’s a comfort song :) and i thought i’d share it because it’s kinda calming

i edited the official visualizer into the spotify layout because this song totally deserves one of those things in the background that they do to some songs (but i didn’t know how to do that)

i’ve been listening to Go! Child’s Coffee and Ramen album since it came out, and Deadlock in particular meant a lot to me, so here is my attempt at an acoustic guitar version!

Hey I know Coffee And Ramen came out ages ago, and this ask is probably outdated at this point, but please tell me that having Fret Street lead into Monster Town in the album was intentional, because I LOVE how you structure albums. Intro and Outro made me cry btw-

Completely intentional. Fret Street was actually made specifically to be a lead-in for MT. I care a whole lot about the flow of an album’s track order and always try my best to make sure everything is in the best spot it could possibly be. MT, while a fantastic song, ended up being SUPER stylistically jarring no matter which track we placed it after, so I came up with Fret as a short 30-second buffer track. Once I pitched it to Ryan it grew into something a little more meaty, but still serves its purpose incredibly well.

Made another remix/cover of a Go! Child song, Deadlock this time! This song was what got me into Go! Child’s music, the original is really innovative and poignant, and I hope I did it justice!
