This was for my Mad Hatter Halloween costume. It's my first hat and is one of my favorite things I've made. It has a string that if pulled, opens the top for candy and other small things. It's very big and over a foot tall.

Made with:

Base- cardboard, duct tape, hot glue, fabric, fabric glue

Decorations- red ribbon, fake flowers, fake butterflys, plastic gears, feathers, hot glue

Opening mechanism- hindge, small rings, string, hot glue, wooden handle
