This would be an absolutely horrible story to read month to month lol. Iirc it goes on for YEARS in real time, and the main reward you get each issue is an opportunity to see another of your favorite characters die horribly. I see why people didnt like this one, im barely hanging on knowing that there is a happy ending in the distance.

The Big the Cat issue in the metal virus arc was fucked up. Im mad as hell about that. I hope when the arc gets resolved one of the artists draws the two of them happy. :(

The omnibus collections for idw sonic really do organize these stories in the worst possible way imo. (Finally got back to trying to finish the metal virus arc, and I was getting into it! I was beginning to have fun! Then whoever edited this collection decided it was a good time to insert another string of like 4 out of continuity issues unrelated to the metal virus arc in the middle of the book. >_> well... I ended up liking the tangle and whisper miniseries, maybe ill like this too...)

EDIT: Okay, it's not actually totally out of continuity, its just showing what some of the side characters are getting to this whole apocalypse. Fine. Fine. That's fine, makes sense as a part of the story. Fine.

Got comics at Hoopla finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More Usagi Yojimbo ready to go, and I can pick up where I left off on the got danged metal virus arc in IDW Sonic.

This is probably a bit insubstantial for a whole post, so I'll add that I saw a post on reddit of someone who was trying to get people to read their Sonic fanfiction and had written some... *colorful* rants about IDW Sonic and got berated for "falling off at the first hurdle". At first I was like, uh oh, I've been having a rough time getting through the metal virus arc, did *I* fall off at the first hurdle??? Turns out, no! The person I'm vagueing about fell off around issue 3. ???? I don't really get it lol. It's been a second, but I remember issue 3 being pretty normal? IIIRC it's like a sequence reintroducing old characters to the new IDW comics continuity, I wouldn't consider it weird at all. Wacky dude.

All the rage and dissatisfaction, and it's not even midnight! I have to wait half an hour before I can check out some comics on Hoopla! The controls in Shadow the Hedgehog 2005 actually are kind of bad lol. So slippery!

Wow! Double tragedy, I played some Sonic Battle to try and get further in the story, and it turns out I totally don't remember how to play that game! I had some sort of strategy for juggling enemies with the aerial launch attack, but now I don't remember what my process for actually hitting opponents with it was. X_x *sigh*... I might have to experience the rest of the story via a let's play... sad, I was enjoying the story in that game a lot (not so much the gameplay)

Got a little bit further in Star Fox Adventures, but the test of fear is proving to be something of a wall for me... the wiki says it's the most difficult of the six tests, so I guess it's not just me. It sure would be nice if I didn't have to redo that puzzle sequence each time I failed!!!
