I really miss writing and Tumblr was a big outlet for it but um...I don’t really like this website and I doubt you’ll see me here much...so I think it is likely time to direct my efforts elsewhere.* I hope we can still be friends! :)

I just wanted to let you know I think the conversations you want to have about ugly parts of ourselves/ being ugly and having the right to exist anyway/ being ok with it are really important and interesting. Ive just recently begun to feel truly ok with ugly sometimes. I know it not exactly vintage you style but part of what’s so great about this blog is growing with you. Honestly as much as your willing to share with us about your feminist journey I’m here for it.

i wish men understood that when women are talking about feminism and rape culture and shit, it’s not just a political conversation. it’s not about being a “social justice warrior” or whatever. it’s about our actual lives being shaped by misogyny since childhood, and the daily reality of living in fear of violence. this isn’t a fucking game or philosophical debate. this is our fucking lives.
