THE ONION: Town's Spike in Teen Pregnancies Due to Cody
ILL EAT EM IN A GODDAMN STEW
That bird don't give no fucks.
Further proof that ravens are the coolest birds in the universe.
This shit is intense
Reblog if no one has a crush on you.
This well-dressed exchange student girl was staring at me on the bus this morning with a look of utter horror on her face like "who the fuck let this thing out of it's cave?" It was awesome.
Oh man, I don't say this often, but this would make an awesome movie. Fuck Avatar, I wanna see mad alien planetoid deities in 3d.
Picked up Pokemans Black
"Looks pretty good, probably not terrific." 10 hours of solid gameplay later: "Dear god, what have I done to myself?"
Kony 2012
Apparently all those donations bought a LOT of PCP.
And everything went better than imaginable.
This made my goddamn year, and it's only March.
For those that didn't catch the hilarity: the hipster dude who starred in the KONY2012 scam video was arrested over the weekend, after multiple reports of a man on the side of the road, naked and screaming incoherently at traffic, masturbating, vandalizing cars and pounding the ground with his fists.
More here.
How I want to end this paper.
"Conclusion? If you read the damn thing I shouldn't need to repeat myself. If you didn't get it, read it again and pay attention this time, goddamn."
Five Star Stories Did I post this before? Meh, I forget.
On making tragedy into trend:
What gets to me about this sudden uproar against the atrocities perpetrated by the Lord's Resistance Army is that this has been happening for decades, and has been by no means "covered up" (there was even talk a few months back in the US media of the possibility of supplying troops to resistance, an issue the president himself made public statements about). It is one of countless ongoing horrors in the world that have continued under the watch the West and its media, alongside the plight of Kurds and the genocide on East Timor, to name only two. But it's not until some white suburbanite college-dude spreads a movie reeking of "EveryoneLookitMe! I'm helping!" around Facebook that there has been any notable public outcry from this younger generation. This war is nothing new, nothing secret, but we in the 'burbs just don't give enough of a fuck to pay attention until we think the advocacy will get our dick sucked at a party. TL;DR: Our generation doesn't read enough news nor history. I want to see the violence end and see the vile warlord disposed of in the most unceremonious of fashions. But to exploit the situation for personal fame is disgusting (and you can be sure someone's gonna make a pretty penny from the merchandising rights to the posters).
My greatest fear for the situation is that it will become a flash-in-the-pan like Bono's Sudan, quickly sinking back into bloody horror as soon as the 19-year-olds of America get bored of it like some used up trend. If you truly want to make a difference, write massive amounts of letters to congress, or become a mercenary and do something worthy of being called "action." These bake sales being held around my campus are an insult to the gravity of the situation.
That's all I have to say on the subject for now.
PS: Lookit that asshole with the RPG. Apparently 'cool headband' outweighed 'protective camouflage' that morning.
Upon awakening, Kitamachi Kanta began his day trudging to the end of the hall, to the toilet and its ever-accompanying reek of shit. Finding his rod throbbingly awake, he grabbed hold and forcibly reangled himself, backing up a bit for better aim. Having loosed a torrent of piss, he forewent the ritual washing of his face and those other areas that demand cleanliness and returned to his bedroom, flopping bellyfirst back onto the summer blanket that served as his matress.
Nishimura Kenta, opening lines to Kueki Ressha (Train of Hard Labour).
Translation by me, selection assigned by teacher.
'Soul Calibur V' would have sounded cooler as 'Soul Blade VI'
Or Soul Edge VI, that's cool too.
