Crystal grids are an amazing tool with which we can integrate the healing energy of many different stones. By weaving together the different vibrations of stones they are able to work together and to affect many different aspects of the mental, emotional, and physical bodies. Grids are a wonderful way to fill your house with healing energy. They are used to make elixirs which are then used internally as physical medicine. Grids can even be used to send healing energy to a specific person, place, or animal.
The Reiki grid as seen in the top photo above is often used for distance healing. It is a six pointed star nested inside itself which is very similar to a 2D Merkaba but rotated. This six pointed star is set inside the hexagram. This Reiki grid represents the balance between polarities such as male and female, dark and light, fire and water, heaven and earth, etc. In this particular photo the Mermaid Oasis of Asheville, NC set up this grid at the Desert Dwellers show at New Mountain on 11/15/15 to share healing spring water with the community. This grid has stones connecting us to the divine Feminine, the ocean, and ancient knowledge such as the fossil sand dollars, trilobites, bivalves, and Ammonites. It also has stones used to bring prosperity and joy such as ocean jasper and rose quartz. Labradorite and black moonstone help us open our Third Eye and tap into our intuition to help us see the Light in our Shadow sides.
Quartz points are used within crystal grids to direct the energy. They can be turned inward to direct the energy toward a center stone such as a sphere (which would then emanate the energy of the grid in all directions). Instead of a sphere try placing a pointed stone in the center facing up to direct energy to a person sitting in a chair, laying in bed, or on a massage table.
In the photo above purple candle Quartz are placed with the terminated point facing 6 different jugs of water. This directs the energy of the grid toward the water to transmute the healing effects of the crystals thus making a crystal elixir. For a smaller batch of elixir, place a glass of water in the center with the Quartz points facing inward.
The photos on the bottom are of a new glass pitcher I found at a thrift store which has a compartment in the center for ice. Inside the compartment, I can place stones and using intention they will transmute energy into the water over night to make an elixir. The special thing about this pitcher is I can place stones which are normally sensitive to water inside the compartment. In this photo I have placed several stones for each Chakra. Starting at the bottom or Root Chakra I used Copper, Carnelian, Red Zircon, Golden Rutilated Quartz, Green Opal, Chrysocolla, Kyanite, and Charoite. This created a lovely and unique elixir for energizing and balancing the chakras.
I prefer non-contact methods for making elixirs such a these listed above. While many stones are advised as “safe” to place in drinking water I advise staying on the precautionary side. Many stones can often have hidden inclusions or matrix material which could contain unknown toxins. And elixirs made through grids and indirect contact have a beautiful radiant energy… so why not?!
