Show Off // Philules

“Yeah! I mean— it should be totally fine, right? You guys already seem pretty comfortable with each other. And, it’s not like we weren’t all friends at one point, at least the three of us, I mean.” At one point, even though Hercules didn’t bring it up all that often, they were in fact, all friends. Even though he and Tiffany had split, that didn’t mean that things should remain awkward forever. Though he had to admit he was doing this mainly to show her how serious he was about his relationship, and hopefully to give her closure to move on. “Great, if everyone is on board, then it’s settled.” He would have to apologize to Phil later, but Hercules figured he’d probably just take him out for drinks and pay for the both of them.
“If you’re busy tomorrow we could always wait a day. I mean, I know that there are some things I have to get done, like going out to get some things for the new addition,” he chuckled, not being rather specific. “So, if you need to, we can put off our little double date. I feel bad, it’s a little short notice.” Looking over at Tiffany, Hercules gave her a small smile. “What are your plans like for the rest of the week? Maybe we can all figure out a better day if tomorrow night doesn’t work? Or we could just settle. I’m fine either way.” Hercules was enjoying this almost too much.Â
“Yea, totally fine,” Phil repeated Hercules, nodding enough to make it convincing. “I’m sure Meg would love to be a part of that circle.” He smiled smugly as Tiffany straightened up when she heard Meg’s name again. He really didn’t like Tiffany, she was too bratty and spoiled for her own good. She thought the world revolved around her, and if it didn’t, you were wrong. Phil was definitely not wrong. She was just a crazy bitch sometimes. He could only imagine how the next night would play out.Â
“No, tomorrow night is fine. I can hardly wait, how could I possibly put it off?” he asked through gritted teeth, faking a smile the whole way. Tiffany bought it and squealed, clapping her hands like the little annoying cheerleader that she was. “I’m going to buy a new dress! Pick me up at 6 tomorrow, don’t be late,” she said to Phil as she got up, kissing him on the cheek softly purposely keeping her eyes on Hercules. She hoped it would make him jealous, and in her mind he saw a sparkle in his eyes she hadn’t seen before. At least, that’s what she swore she saw. As she walked out, Phil stared at Hercules before punching him in the arm from across the table. “You ass, I’d rather just get it out of the way. Over and done. Besides, I need some humor in my life, and Tiffany fawning over you might be just the thing.”
