Lately I’ve been thinking. Do you think I’m the Devil because I’m inherently evil, or just because dear ol’ dad decided I was?

There is ‘God’, whom the angels refer to as father, and then there are the ‘lesser gods’ created alongside the angels to help build humanity. They are part of the same demiurge as the angels. In terms of strength, the angels rank similar to these ‘lesser gods’, though each of them have different ways they can be killed. For the angels, it is any weapon Hell or Heaven forged, while for the ‘lesser gods’ they follow different ‘rules’ depending on their development / what have you. 

The demiurge is capable of hurting one another. Angels can fight angels, and the ‘lesser gods’ can fight angels, and vice versa. Of course, they can only kill one another following whatever rules that can cause death. Angels are slightly older than the ‘lesser gods’ as the latter were created around the time that ‘God’ decided on creating people / be it humans or otherwise. 

This basically means, that God / angels / lesser gods all created parts of the world / parts of humanity. They simply follow different rules as things fell into some semblance of order.
