ghouls are weird bc some have horns like deer but some have horns like goats. they resemble cats in some respect, but they’re actually more related to goat like demons. their packs are called packs like wolves, but they’re determined by doe and buck like deer. their young are referred to as kittens, and their tails are almost scorpion like, despite being fleshy like a lizards. their teeth are like sharks and their claws are like the talons of hawks or lizards once again. they’re this weird bastard amalgamation of so many animals and i honestly don’t know what genus they fit in to.

in lore, ghouls are terrifying flesh eating creatures that eat dead bodies from graves. i know that your ghouls used to be based off of the ones from that band, but is there are reason yours are so different?
hello ! yes , my ghouls are different , but i think it’s important to note that my ghouls are descendants from the ghouls that did that . true ghouls live underground , were driven underground . sure , they’re much bigger , filled with a great & ancient power . but it was simply too unsafe for them to be out in the world . humans had destroyed their natural habitats , & thus they went underground . they were already designed to survive without sunlight , so this was no issue . they hunted in the dark . domesticated ghouls could still be that . they’re still vicious & carnivorous . but it’s the true ghouls that are really the grave eaters of old . i’ve just designed them that way , & i like how they are . i hope this fills in any gaps .
