☆ Really, Dolphi was so amazing. Splendidly so! Vibrations of good magic still clung to her veins, and trickled down her spine in liquid guilt, but they were ignored on many occasions. The cool grit in the back of her head; Dolphi was the most innocent, by far, of all familiars. Innocence didn't paint a body red, though; nor did it protect you from the horrors of reality.
Re-creationism; the rebuilding of a mind frame whittled into soft wood, whetted down with boring blue and gross lies told to them through the teeth of 'loved ones'. The truth was, corrupted lungs sung more veracities than any other pair that dared intake breath. It just took a bit of coaxing out of metaphoric (and, in some cases, legitimate) shells. The blood is idly wiped upon lips; refractal reflex, one that would make her sick in any other sense.
Head tips back, and she grins stupidly at the ceiling high above her head. Eyes wink; she winks back and laughs and metal forces it's way through her teeth, exploding on impact with the constricting walls. The real truth was that her head had been killing her, but not as much as this new life had. But it was so fun! It was so fun, to run wild with the murderers and to maim, to maim to maim to maim. Empty eyes return to her beloved familiar, and there's a streak of blood on the other's cheek.
I'm so glad you're here! Have you heard word of the
others? I've only heard rumors--I mean, you'd think I'd hear the whole
truth, wouldn't you? Isn't that just silly? Heehee! I'm certain Sal means
the best, though.
Words wheeze out of displaced carmine lips; one thumb reaches up and gently wipes the crimson off of Dolphi's cheek. Those black eyes have always looked so nice, but they look nicer even here! Red on black on pale skin on blood; it's beautiful. Isn't she lucky? To have, and to gain yet still?
Really, though. I'm very glad you're here, Dolphi. I can't tell you how
grateful I am to you for following me.
And it's spoken so nonchalantly but so sincere that saccharine love pours out from between ivory teeth. Followed; follow the leader into the maws of hell while she smiles and whistles a funeral dirge. The gaps in the words are filled with diseased, cloying infections; she has learned from her love to be sweet, even when candy words have rotted you from the inside out. What is a feeling, anymore? There's not much except a faint nauseous sickness, and the occasional, pure rage. ☆
