It's mostly sleeker/simplified making it easier to draw, after I update my banner I plan on making art for him and a few other characters including ghosts because I want to make charms out of them. I'm hoping it'll motivate me to keep the comic going post the "pilot" which is a movie length plot so tbh it's a lot. But atm I haven't redesigned any character that isn't in the pilot yet, it's just that my art is a lot better now.

I can't remember if you ever confirmed it are not but will your the cast age during the course of the comic and if so and its not a spoiler to say by how much?like i know folks headcanon that by the time Phantom Planet rolls around danny and everyone else are about a year or 2 older and AGIT kinda confirms that so i was wondering if you'd go a similar route

Also will you add in any oc characters?Good guys, Bad guys,love interests or just random characters to fill in certain roles that aren't already filled by the canon cast

Time will pass and the majority of the story takes place over 2 years letting some of the characters graduate from Casper High. So all the characters grow and age. It’s not inspired by the characters in the OG show hypothetically aging (tbh I just think HC it has a floating timeline and takes place over 1 yr because Jazz never graduated and she’s 16 at the start but I get why people hc that they aged up and time happens lol) but because I really like the idea of my major story feeling some kind of full circle moment with entering high school and ending with many characters moving past it. Sure, Danny is still in HS at the end but he’d more comfortable and stable now. But Jazz and many side characters are going to college or entering adult life so there’s still big changes.

And yes, technically I have many simple OCs to fill in gaps. I view many characters that are canon functionally as OCs, characters that filled in classrooms, teachers that aren’t Mr Lancer, the Guys in White, the ghosts that got bit roles like from Circus Gothica, and so on. They’re often completely underdeveloped with nothing but vibes and aesthetics to go off of. (Not a complaint just an observation and opinion) But I do not plan on any OC being super upgraded into being as important as a love interest for the main cast. But I do plan on giving them spotlights and really fleshing out the world and making it fun and lived in past Danny’s main character pov.
