Anyway it's a Rodrick Heffley x Eddie Munson x eventually Steve Harrington smut fic. Its realistic to the real world, not so much cannon compliance

EXERPT;

Rodrick knew he was bi, he had known it for a while and he thought it just made him cooler. Cuz he's so definitely cool! So cool in fact he drove away from his stupid little home town to go to a concert in Connecticut of a new but- quickly becoming- favorite band. What could go wrong?

On the other hand Eddie knew he wasn't cool, he would have ROCKED the 80s, he would have been so cool in the 80s- but with the fading away of rock and metal in the 90s and punk getting more out there he felt like he was losing control of his situation. So he left- just for the week- just to get away- just to see what the hype was about this new band performing in New Haven-

Where's that person who said I was fear mongering and actually they were an expert who's helped people keep their disability because they were completely overlooking this point that I assumed was clear because I might know just a bit more about gov't assistance than the average person. This will kill people. This will force disabled people out of their homes. This will take people who are barely surviving and make it so they can't survive at all and that's the point.

the "or qualifying activity" mentioned above includes unpaid work like internship or "voluntary" time at an approved charity or nonprofit.

So if you want to keep your disability, or if you're not disabled but 80 hours would put you over the limit to lose income-based state healthcare (which is the case for anyone married or making above minimum wage in a metro area), to keep your benefits that you require to live you will be forced into unpaid labor. Which. I think there's another word for that.
