Golden Lines was originally going to follow the modern day descendent of Robin Hood as Robin Hood is my favourite folk hero. However, when I tried to explore versions of the tale that had not been done before and realised that the idea of the 'golden lines' hadn't been done, I found myself not believing that a child of Robin Hood would ever give up on helping people for so long because they just do it so naturally and therefore switched for the main character being a descendent of King Arthur.

Eleanor: Yeah, I danced with Nathan and trust him with my life and would do literally anything for him but doesn't mean anything. Me and Nathan are just friends. Jenny: Sure you are. How I name my characters: Considering the balance between modernity and tradition, looking up meanings and testing variations, making sure it seems like a name the parents of the character would have picked.

How I name my files: I can't be bothered to spell legendary so I christen thee 'leg'

Why did I name my main character Eleanor? Oh well, it totally wasn't because her love interested is descended from Robin Hood and Eleanor of Aquitaine would have been queen in Robin Hood time just like this Eleanor is queen to Robin Hood's modern day descendant... I mean, who would do that?
