waow ! so much love on my grace seizure art!!! had many people asking for more, so here... rocky doesn't handle it very well this time sorryyyy
he's traumatised from losing his crew, hence the constant paranoia about grace's health, so hearing grace's vitals freak out like this... terrifying
content warning !!! seizure
i really really really love the idea of eridians hearing absolutely everything in a human body and being able to predict an episode of something, similarly to how medical alert service dogs can
I was so taken by the image of 20-30 pebbles activating in unison that I had to draw it immediately
(Featuring Etch, Variolite, Prism, Cheeto, Dandelion, Citrus, and Cantaloupe, by @t3ch-wizard, @ghost-crows, @sharkfiinn, @problematiccheeto, @nacho-business1, @moth-in-a-mason-jar, and @leafnyx respectively (and Kelly, but she’s mine))
Being able to draw older people as attractive without reducing or erasing the visual signs of aging, and in fact showing that they're attractive because of those signs, is an artistic skill that should be valued so much more. Honestly, it should earn you an immediate fortune because holy fuck is it a rare commodity. There are so many artists who seem to think attractiveness and aging exist in opposition to each other, so they smooth every wrinkle, erase every crease, and de-age the character until they're basically thirty with silver hair. But when an artist can look at crow's feet, smile lines, weathered skin, deep-set wrinkles, and all the little traces of a life well lived and say, "No, that's what makes them beautiful," that's a level of artistic observation and care I wish we celebrated more often.
life is very personal

Hopper is actually not always mean, only most of the time :) The scarecrow got the brunt of her attitude here.
The Swordfish and Hopper Heraldic pins are still here for a week! They’ve found almost 400 homes by now, which I am so grateful for. Here’s the link if you’d like to grab the pair too:
Heraldic Duo Pin Pack
A dragon sticks with his hoard no matter what! Not that Swordfish isn’t enjoying this. He’s having the time of his life there!
~~~
Also, his and Hopper’s enamel pins are still here for 6 days, after which they will disappear permanently.
Here, if you’d like to check them out!
Winter’s Chill - Part 3
This is a continuation of the winter’s chill comics Part 1 and Part 2! The links lead to the previous parts :)
This is part 2 of the winter dragon’s comic! See part 1 here!
Wheeew I am NOT drawing backgrounds again for a while! I hope you enjoy this ending more than the first one’s! :D
Okay. For my money, the entire thesis of Chris Nolan’s 2026 film The Odyssey is that society chokes and sputters and dies when we abuse, ignore, or violate social norms like the laws of hospitality. That is not really what The Odyssey (the book/poem) is about, but I can clearly see why in the horror that is the 2020s, someone could read The Odyssey and go oh my god that’s a lot of bad dropping in. That’s a lot of bad visits. That’s a clear vision of how the loss of social norms and cohesion fucks you up and how war, literal, brutal war, is a terrible wound that destroys your humanity and your understanding of what civilization and society is. I don’t know that the iteration of Greek society that ultimately birthed the poem would agree with Nolan’s take, but I think this movie is quite ideologically coherent, that Nolan knew exactly what he was trying to say with each and every adaptational change, and I think he wasn’t nuts for using one of the most famous classical western civilization works as a way to make that argument.
I'm gonna say it, I do think that even the laziest person imaginable should have a roof over their head, food in their stomach, and access to healthcare
*while sewing*: you are a fabric. you can stay a fabric. you do not yearn to return to being string.
*while spinning*: you are a thread. you can stay a thread. you do not yarn to return to being fluff.
*while embroidering*: you are a thread on a needle. you can just exist as thread on a needle. you do knot yearn to become a tangle.
*while turning wood* you are timber on a lathe. You can stay as timber on a lathe. You do not yearn to become a live hand grenade.
