Altair is our lovely English Thoroughbred stallion.
His primary focus is endurance riding. He’s a gentle, quiet boy with “bombproof” training. He’s also popular with the younger kids and newer riders, and he’s usually the horse used to teach about grooming and tacking up.
This is Miranda. She’s another custom of mine. For her, I simply changed her from a black leopard Appaloosa to a chestnut leopard. I also added a pink muzzle, and a few spots in a bare spot along her neck to avoid the appearance of what I call a “dog collar..” (I’ll explain that in a later post)
Miranda is a purebred knabstrupper mare, show name Southern Doll. She is distrustful of humans thanks to her previous owner. As a result, she is a halter only mare, and is on the No Show list. She has been a successful broodmare in the past, and is currently fostering an orphan knabstrupper filly who lost her dam in a fire.
Meet Puma, a lovely custom Buckskin Mustang stallion on the 2005 Andalusian Stallion model.
Puma is a sweet-tempered school horse that works in both the Western and English disciplines. His strongest suits are Cross Country and Barrel Racing.
If I remember correctly, he was the second custom I ever did. He was a learning experience, but I absolutely love how he turned out. I didn’t use anything to seal the paint, so I’ll have to touch him up and properly seal the paint in a few months.

Sorry for the radio silence, I’ve been a bit swamped by college classes. I am just now starting to get some breathing room to begin posting again.
More pics from the photo shoot. This time it’s some of the riders. Also included is my cat, Baby, who decided she wanted to help (get petted). I’ll be making separate posts later to individually introduce the horses, riders, and other people and animals from Golden Oak and the surrounding area.
Going to kick off this blog with the lovely new pintabian stallion I got a few days ago. Meet Dubstep!
