It’s time to say Goodbye

                [ Welp guys, I have some really sad news... if you can even consider it sad. I’ve decided to finally quit Tumblr. I feel like roleplaying here is getting kind of tiring and I kinda wanna focus on real life and college right now.

I don’t think I could ever give up roleplaying... but I think for roleplaying on Tumblr, I’m kind of done. Over the summer I noticed when I wasn’t roleplaying I was focused on getting work done. And I want to be more productive this year. ]

                 [ It’s been a fantastic year, I loved all of the roleplays I have played with you guys, and playing as Blaze was a literal blast. But I think for now that I’m going to put her to rest. I might bring her up in a later date... but I kind of doubt it. I won’t delete this account and I’ll have it up for anyone who wants to look through my archives. But from now on... this is Goodbye ]

Noting the raised hand, Omega complied with the princess, refraining from firing at the other espionage unit. The war machine wanted nothing more than to reduce the other bot to scrap right away. However…if Blaze wanted him to hold off for now, he would do so.

The feline was one of the few ‘meatbags’ who’s opinions mattered to the robot.

Upon receiving the command, Omega let out an eager laugh as his gatling guns began spinning around rapidly.

“AFFIRMATIVE! FACE ANNIHILATION, WORTHLESS CONSUMER MODEL!!” The robot began his barrage of bullets towards the espionage, gleefully awaiting to see the other robot get riddled.

However, the second the first bullet made contact with the espionage unit, it soon exploded, yet not the fiery kind of explosion the princess was expecting. Instead it was a wave of electrical energy coming towards the two, a kind which the war machine noted right away.

“EMP FIELD DETECTED…FOUL PLAY,” While the feline should remain unharmed from the blast…aside from a possible headache, the war machine knew such a blast was lethal to a machine. The robot quickly shut down, falling forward as the blast made it to him.

Was the blast successful in rendering Omega out of the game? Given his current inactive state, it was hard to tell.

                   Eye’s squeezing tight, something shot through her head making her trip over her own heels. Her eye’s slowly opened seeing that it wasn’t the explosion that she was expecting.

Eye’s widened when she saw Omega shut down and fall forward. He called it an EMP Field, but she was unsure why it managed to take Omega out. Her eyes turned, but the Espionage was gone... The explosion had taken it out... as well as her partner.

                 There really wasn’t anything she could do know, sitting down next to Omega as she closed her eye’s for a moment. Hearing footsteps as some G.U.N agents came down the hall.

The Jackal turned to the young cat, then crouched down to her level again, smiling slightly.

“Why do I guard the tombs? It’s easy, really. It is because that I wish to that I protect these places. And, a long time ago, when my father passed away; I was the one whom protected his tomb.

                   “Uh huh! It kinda sounds like how Tara protects me!”

She turned and smiled softly towards the black feline, giggling when Tara turned her head to hide a blush. She reached over and touched her robotic claw, beaming up at Anubis.

                    “Tara is always protectin’ me... an’ other’s too! She just has a hard time trustin’ dem...”

                   Her ears folded back, she spoke the truth that the only person that she truly trusted was the little Kitten herself. Yet the purple kitten managed to trust and show kindness to everyone. No matter who or what they were.

As Ko was re-doing the sketch on the next page, He looked at Solrina with an awkward smile.

“A-as long as we’re making a list, d-do you think maybe we can… uh… get a bigger apartment for the both of us and Neko? I-I mean, it’d be more cost-effective to live in one place rather than two…”

                   Sol gave him a soft smirk when she looked over at Ko. She wasn't at all surprised that he asked if the two of them could live in an apartment together. Maybe they could find one that was close to the college they were both planning to attend.

                   “Hm... I don’t know... what do you think Neko? Do you think we should let this nerd live with us?”

A black muzzle poked through the picnic basket, giving a soft mewl before going back in. Sol just gave a shocked expression as if she knew exactly what she was saying.

                 “You think so? Well I guess I have no choice huh?”

                  “Well I guess we’ll be living together.”

As Solrina joined her hand with his, he laced his fingers with hers, smiling softly and sweetly as they walked back towards the Train Station.

When they got onto the Train for the return trip home, he pulled out a small note-pad he had in his jean pockets; thankfully it didn’t get wet when it was just sitting in a bag before they went back and changed. He also pulled out a mechanical pencil and started to write down and doodle something. It read;

“Things to do with Solrina: Alpha Version”

The only thing on there at the moment was a rough sketch of Ko-Emerl the Space Pirate, and it said right next to him “Buy/Build for Solrina!” It seems that Ko was intending to either buy the animatronic itself or build and program one himself.

                   Solrina blinked when she saw him pull out his note pad and start to write his list. Her eyes blinked in surprised when she saw that Ko - Emerl the Space Pirate was at the top. Her heart was pounding at the thought at seeing her friend again. To finally get him out of that place once and for all.

A smile formed on her lips as she pulled out her own pencil and starred it. Of course it was important, but she crossed out the ‘build’ and underlined ‘buy’. Ko didn’t know that the Robot was sentient after he bit her... but that robot was important to her. So they were going to save for it.

                     “Make a second copy, I’ll put this up on my fridge. And we can get a cash jar for it.”

At the crash, the Gizoid turned as Blaze did, seeing the monstrosity that was there; definitely too big to combat like the other ones!

The Gizoid only watched as Blaze escaped, only to snap out of it a few seconds later before scrambling himself. However, he caught up to Blaze in a matter of seconds. He looked at Blaze with a worried glance.

“How the heck are we supposed to get rid of THIS thing!? It’s probably five times our size!! Maybe more!”

A couple plans already formed… one of which being to get far enough ahead to set up proximity mines to cave it in, but it looked to big to be trapped for long… another plan was to jump at it head-on and stab it in the head with a laser sword… again; it was probably too big for that. Best bet was to keep running.

                 “J - Just keep running!”

There really wasn't any time to stop and think on how they were going to defeat this monster. Hopefully they would be able find somewhere to hide. Her eyes took notice of a large crack in hard ice. Before quickly ducking into it and kicking the wall to cave in the entrance. She could barely see the monster through the ice, but she noticed it move past them.

Good thing this was the way towards the energy of the Sol Emerald. Maybe this is what it wanted... for the two of them to find it only to see that it’s been corrupted.

                    But they had to continue to press on...

              “Let’s go. The Emerald is up ahead.”

The feline wasn’t the only one becoming agitated with the espionage’s agility. The more Omega watched the espionage dodge his bullets, the more and more his anger grew. He was the Ultimate Robot. No mere ‘worthless consumer model’ should be able to evade his attacks!

The espionage could do little to stop the fire balls from landing right in front of it. Just as Blaze had hoped, the enemy robot took off in another direction…one which soon ended up as a dead end.

The war machine soon came to a halt, just a few feet away from their target, letting out a mechanical laugh as it watched the espionage look around for some means of escape. Omega felt no pity for this machine. It was an Eggman robot, and like all Eggman robots, it must be destroyed.

“…! WARNING: UNFAMILIAR ENERGY SIGNATURES COMING FROM THE ENEMY UNIT…” Omega took a few steps back, yet kept his gatling guns aimed at the espionage. “…PERMISSION TO FIRE ANYWAY?”

                    Blaze held up her hand to Omega to tell him to wait. If he was getting unfamiliar signatures they had no way of telling what the espionage was planning. She had no idea if there was a possible self destruct unit on him, ready to blow.

She decided there was no choice, they needed to destroy it while it was trapped in the corner. She moved so she could duck behind Omega if it did decided to explode.

                     “You have my permission to fire.”

“And you can just-a call me Luigi.” He then knelt down a bit as if trying to get a better look – something did strike him as familiar with this little one. “U-Um, have we met before by any chance?”

                   “Ah, dun’t think so. But maybeh ya’ have met Bwaze da Cat. She’s my older alternate.”

She stood in front of him with a tilt in her head, maybe he has met Blaze and just completely forgot about it. Not that her Blaze even mentioned meeting a Green Clad man. .... Though....

                 “Wait... yer Luigi... Bwaze did mention a ‘Luigi’ at a Winter and Summer Olympic games dat she went to.”

this should be a universal courtesy with all muns. if you follow someone, you NEED TO READ THEIR RULES! maybe they’ll only follow back if you give them a PASSWORD. maybe there’s important INFORMATION on how they play their muse or run their blog. maybe they’re exclusive, or private, or selective. maybe they have rules specially for FOLLOWERS. and reading someone’s rules is especially crucial if you are mutuals with them; you are SHOOTING YOURSELF IN THE FOOT by not doing so, because you may end up breaking a rule and losing a potentially great partnership because of it.

by reading someone’s rules, you’re telling them:

“i respect you enough to see if you have any triggers or concerns.”

“i care enough about you to check out your pages instead of just following.”

“i want to see if we’d be a good fit to roleplay together.”

“you are worth more than the time it takes to click ‘FOLLOW’.”

in contrast, by NOT reading someone’s rules, you’re telling them:

“i don’t care if you have any triggers or concerns.”

“i know you may have read MY rules, but i won’t bother to read yours.”

“i don’t want to roleplay with you that much.”

of course, there are many muns who have very LAID-BACK rules pages. and some muns might not really care if you don’t read their rules. but there are MANY muns who have special requests and put them in their rules pages. MANY muns get invested in their partners, and excited to write with them, and need you to meet them halfway. this starts with reading their rules.

bottom line?

IF YOU DON’T READ THE RULES, YOU ARE NOT RESPECTING THE MUN.

At the words “I want to thank you.”, Ko looked at Sol with a curious expression.

“Thank me..? For what?”

But when she explained why she had to thank him, he smiled softly and nodded. He brought her in close, keeping her in a tight embrace, resting his head on hers with delicacy and love.

“Heh… I guess I could say the same thing, myself. Maybe with a reason like you around; maybe my dreams aren’t such faulty wiring as I’d expected.

But, know that I’ll always be there beside you; through thick and thin, you’re still my girlfriend and my best friend at that. Even if you can’t say what troubles you… I’ll stay by you no matter what. And that’s a promise I intend to keep.”

“Come on, let’s get going; it’s getting dark and the beach will close soon. Gather up Neko and your things, I’ll help you where I can.”

                     A small smile stretched across her face as he spoke. It was the same for him, that she would stay by his side through thick and thin. She just hoped her own troubles wouldn't crop up to bother him in the future. She was sure her night terrors weren't going anywhere any time soon.

She gave a soft whistle as Neko jumped back into her basket, her tail wrapped firmly around her body as she licked her chops. It looks like while the two of them were talking, the young kitten went out hunting and found her prey. Sol didn't really care, as long as she was happy.

                    With her basket in hand, she moved over and took Ko’s hand as she held it. This is what couples did ... right? She had seen a few couples walking down the street on moonlit walks when she was coming home from work.

... Work...

                   It was getting dark...

                   “Let’s go home.”
