Hi Hello everyone, and welcome to Goldfinchclan. I have been playing ClanGen for a while but never made a blog following their rise as a clan. So, I decided to change that today.

Watch as this new leader and comrades face the elements surrounding their forest territory. (as of writing this, I'm 8 Moons in so I'll be following the surrounding clans from Moon 8 going forward just to spice up the story a bit and for character designs)

As for scheduled updates, there are none >:o this is just a fun lil project. I will try my best to document every moon (if anything happens, if not, those moons will be skipped)

Unmated cats can breed/affairs - On

Increase same-sex adoption - On

Unknown second parent - On/Off depending on clan size

Leaders auto choose a new deputy - On

Warriors and elders can become mediators - On

Disable exp-based apprentice graduation - Off

Romantic interaction with previous mentor - Off

Allow first cousins to be mates and have romantic interactions - OFF (the hell lol)

Just wanted to drop in here and state that I don't plan on continuing this clangen save :(. I'll keep the current pages up more for archival sake. Same goes for Sycamoreclan to those that happen to find that account. I'll probably continue the start and stop cycle for further comics till I find my footing, we'll see...

Wanted to make a separate post about the "lil break" mentioned before. The latest comic pages are taking a lot longer than I expected on the account that my family and I are in the process of moving AND going on a family trip directly after (couldn't refund it since it's too close to the leaving date, gotta get our money's worth). So, of course, my motivation for the pages has been zapped. New updates will drop when they drop. I might still work on what I've started during the trip. Who knows, motivation always comes at the weirdest times ;) Anyway, take these random fox characters I made some months ago as compensation. <3

cat study pages or something. I noticed that I practically forgot how to draw cats while making the latest pages, which obviously makes it difficult to make a comic. So I went back and did some quick draws to help figure out structure and limb connections. I'm also working on a different style since this whole comic was an experiment anyway. 4 drawings were freehand (2 per page)
