there’s something about this image that makes me so happy

like i don’t really know what it is. i think it’s either the beautifully drawn background or the nostalgic 90s feel this image has, considering downtown came out in 1999. even though i’m not a 90s kid (i’m a 2007 baby) i sometimes wonder “what if i was a 90s kid?” i doubt i’d have an experience like chaka and her friend group (neurodivergence am i right?) but it’d probably still be such a cool experience depending on how you view it. it’s shows like this that brings me the love of what life was like back in the day, and the feeling of nostalgia in general.
