Hey everyone!

So Anne Marie and I have both had a crazy few months and just finished moving, so it's pretty safe to say that GSG has taken a bit of a backseat. But, as we're both getting settled in, and I've been seeing a lot more Puckleberry on my dash, maybe it's time to pick this up again!

So, if you're up for another community event, just let us know! We still have plenty of fun ideas, and we'd be happy to organize something if there's interest! We were last thinking of another fic/graphic exchange, but we also have ideas for theme weeks and personal challenges, and it's all up to you and what you would like to see. So let us know what you think, and maybe we can get this community blog up and running again!

As of today, Smuckleberry Week as we originally planned has ended. We had assigned prompts for seven days, and we had planned to close it today, excluding a few more pieces people may happen to send in after the deadline, as we did for Puckleberry Week last month.

But we've been told by several people that they had or have works in progress for Smuckleberry Week and simply didn't have the time to finish them and post them in time, and we completely understand that. And we don't want that to convince you not to finish them or not to send them in as part of the celebration.

So, we're extending Smuckleberry Week. There will be no new prompts, but the event will be officially extended to this Friday, so you all have extra time to finish something you may have started or even write another piece from scratch. As before, just tag it as "smuckleberry week," and we'll reblog it and sort it into the proper days' prompt.

There have been several people to drop by our ask box lately and ask about invites to AO3 (Archive of Our Own) since so many fics are posted there and since so many Puckleberry writers are shifting their work there. For those of you who don't know, AO3 is a fanfiction website that's gaining in popularity since ff.net began taking down their smut, but because it's in beta testing you can't have an account without having an invite.

Anne Marie and I both have limited time and invites on AO3 (and mine don't seem to be working anyway), so we're posting for you all to find each other for invites. If you need an invite, please reply to this saying so, and if you have extra invites, please be charitable and get back to one of the people who need one -- and everyone make sure to have your ask boxes open for the exchange.

“Don’t worry Puck. It was just a little girl talk.” She hiked her backpack a little higher onto her shoulders and stood to face him squarely, planting one hand on her hip and using the other to pat his cheek a little more roughly than Puck would have liked. “But listen to me right now, pendejo,” she slid her hand off his cheek to jam one very sharp fingernail at his face, “Broadway’s putting a lot on the line for you. And she trusts you. A fucking lot. She’s a good girl and she thinks you’re a good guy. At least, that you’re a good guy for her.” She turned on one heel and took a couple steps away from him before turning to call back to him over her shoulder, “Don’t fuck it up, Noah.”

Puck stared at her, confused, until she was nearly halfway down the hall. He finally got it together and called to her retreating back, “Didn’t plan on it,Satan!”
